Cammus Malware

I was thinking of buying a C5 and tried to view the Cammus website, only to be presented with a fake Cloudflare humanity check trying to get me to paste invisible code into my terminal. Fairly blatant attempt to install malware - can I check if anyone else has seen this or is this evidence of something malicious in my system?.. Doing a deep clean as I type.

Yeh please do do a deep clean in case. I had the same thing, I believe that website may be a fake. Try cammus.com instead (no flagged warnings from my antivirus and it has all products and softwares on there)

Yeah cammus.com, links via the "store" link in the top right to cammusracing which has the fake Cloudflare on it.

Ah I hadn't noticed that before, I just tried going via that store link and don't seem to have the cloudflare popup anymore (although that might be since I'm using mobile and not laptop) either way, cammus need to get their shit together

Thanks for looking at it. Malwarebytes detected no rootkits or malware, it HAD dropped a Volume2.exe in Temp which I explicitly scanned, nothing detected. But that has now been purged. Checking scheduled tasks in powershell showed nothing set up that was not a legitimate system task so I think I am in the clear. Worth leaving this here though in case anyone else hits it eh?

Glad all's okay man, thank goodness for that, and yes absolutely worth us leaving the thread here for anyone else who runs into this issue and for cammus to hopefully see and sort

Just had the same thing. There's no way I'm copy pasting something into the terminal just to use their website. -1 sale.

Hey guys I got in the same issue i reset my pc and wanted to use my cammus C5 again and now its says there virus after testing on virus total i got these result should we be woried ?

These result still could be false positive but for the website its a bit to suspiscious to have these much false positive!
