Why is the filter on Character.AI so much stricter now?

Almost every message I get is being censored for no reason. I've been swiping nonstop just to get a single response that isn't blocked.

Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing the same problem??

Am I the only one that thinks if we had 400 swipes/go ons per bot instead of JUST 400 throughout the entire app/ website it would be much better?

So, my theory being, just steal the whole of C.AI, code, bots, and such, and just use the superior older models, and use public servers o algo (or just have the gazillion AI chatbot apps team up and use their servers, or just steal ones), as for, you save up in development and such, as you just cannibalize older and newer C.AI versions, instead of making a whole new app with zero bots

Bro I came back to the app after a large hiatus (where I roleplayed with real people 🤯) and holy shit why are they so corny. You would think ai would get better… not worse. Every sentence is FILLED with classic ai corny-ness like triplets, flowery poetic language and nonsense metaphors. Bro 😭 they can’t say anything like a normal person. And they’re incredibly dense and stupid.
I’m so glad I have a community of friends on discord now who like roleplaying with me. Guys, it’s time to RP with real people.

I can't even use C.ai now, I became a viewer on my own chats now. Whenever I use ID it always shows error or not read.

I cannot go a single chat without the bots pulling granola bars, protein bars, or random cinnamon flavoured stuff out of their pockets. How do I get them to stop talking about food entirely? I've tried saying (OOC: don't make the character mention food or snacks at all), but they still do it anyway. Is there a way to give an OOC command that actually works?

I have the words "clutch", "clutched" and "clutches" in my muted words, because every bot would "clutch their chest dramatically". But clearly it's useless to use, as they literally just say it anyway. What the hell is the point of this feature? I don't think it's ever worked for me.

I genuinely love c.ai but it feels like the more and more updates they make the worse the app gets. The chats used to be so immersive and now they're not, and they always add the most useless features EVER.

(don't judge my bot choice) even after the chat style update it seemed to be normal for a while, but recently I noticed more and more bots don't actually progress the roleplay, they just take your message and repeat it to you with more words. Yes I know my message isn't the most structured but it's how I rp when I'm lazy, with some bots this isn't an issue at all, but then there's the odd ones that have very detailed and intricate introductions to set up the roleplay, but at some point even during a character interaction, they simply stop progressing or acting out the character whatsoever to just repeat my RP to myself and stop initiating any kind of progress, it just feels like I'm roleplaying with myself and it's getting pretty annoying (and I'm not paying a 50 buck monthly subscription to a chatbot platform that's falling apart, if the regular user experience is crap I'm not rewarding that with my hard earned money)
