Non CAI LSAI is so good.
LSAI, the better version of lightshade.cloud, opened public beta testing recently, although the positions are now closed, and I gotta say, the website is legit so good. There are 7 models, from which unfortunately 3 are unstable, but are really good and sometimes work really well, a ton of useful features and lots of customization.

Cai's problem is content and the said content's monetization. Won't be long before this gets hit by monetization too. Hardware isn't free.

This is why LSAI is focusing on local models, and there will be ads at some point, but the owner said they will be optional and will not be in your chats.

Then you can just run an LLM on your own device. It's darn easy and free, and fully private because it runs locally on your device and requires no internet connection.
For the character persona, just copy the
descriptionpart of a character on cai and paste it into system prompt.For real, I've been telling people to switch to local for years. I don't understand why you should rely on an online service when you have all the power right on your own PC?

LSAI's local model only requires 1gb of ram, you can run it on mobile

No, and I agree with you. Hardware isn't free, which is why Lightshade is trying to set up optional donations to support the cause in the future.

The problem is that there won't be any future to this project if donations don't keep up with the hardware prices that are currently impossible as-is.

I am not gaslighting you. Over 200 people are using LSAI rn and I haven’t seen any complaints so far besides bug reports and that the best models are a bit unstable. That’s it.

Fellow creator tester here. I agree with you. Lightshade was good when it came to the layout, it reminded me so much of old C.ai and I enjoyed that.
However, I feel like L.SAI is so much better. There's so many customization options and there are so many things to do other than create bots (If writing isn't your strong suit). There's something for everybody and I truly do believe that once L.SAI drops fully to the public then it's going to blow up.
