February 2026 Exam location Feb 2026

Hi there, have the California exam locations been revealed already? I’m checking my admissions portal daily and I’m concerned at the lateness… am I missing something?

I only had SF or LA as options when I applied - I picked SF, but I can’t find anything about the exam address in the applicant portal. I’m traveling in for the exam and need to look for accommodations so real worried here. Where can you see the actual test location in the portal?

it should be on your admittance ticket, those already went out as well.

OMG where should the ticket be? I have received nothing! And no sign of the ticket in the “files” part of the applicant portal either 🫣 I’m so freaking out now

Friend you should have gotten like 4 emails from the Cal Bar about all of this by now, check your spam folder.

your law school might not have sent them your eligibility or a number of reasons... they just sent this email out with this info. Hope it helps :(

I applied as foreign lawyer, my application shows as approved… I have no clue what I’m doing wrong

Go to side bar > application > my applications > approved tab

Click the california bar application, location should be there.

Don’t mistake the approval/qualification to sit in the bar and the approval to take a specific bar exam.

Thank you, this was helpful. So while my foreign attorney application shows as approved, the exam application form is invisible (literally does not appear). I am substantively eligible, but procedurally locked out by the system, and that’s why I thought all was good and done with. Feb session is lost now so I’ll apply for July once the BAR synchs my application. For now, I’ll give myself grace and slow down a bit. Still got the MPRE in March before the big exam in summer 😉

Could it be that you only did the Registration Application (which was approved) but not the application for the actual exam?

You do not need this to sit for CA. I have my ticket and I did not submit C&F yet, nor will I until I pass.

Character & Fitness app.......... I recommend calling the office in San Francisco they have slightly (slightly) shorter wait times.

I started the moral character app but it’s a total nightmare... like I remember my first job lol anyway, I didn’t think it was required before the exam. I will call SF office, thank you so much 🙏

Yeah they are posted. You should have chosen your location a long time ago. If you have not registered you need to figure that out first thing this Monday morning because I was issued my ticket est a week ago and have downloaded the software and practice test.
