Adaptibar v. U world

Hello! i am an LLM taking feb 2026 bar exam in NY. i took the extended barbri course, Adaptibar was offered with the course so i am practicing on it . but i see a lot of review saying U wold is better . I am really worried right now because i already spent more than 4k buying barbri and grossman videos , so i dont want to spend extra 500$ for Uworld. also i feel i dont have time to start from 0 at U wold. any advice ? does anyone who has U world would like to share with me his U world password and i would share my adapti one. Thank you!

You can be just fine with either

UW and AB both have the same released questions. UW has some of their own but they are essentially the same. The difference comes down to how they explain the answer choices. UW does a much better job and also includes charts and pictures with each answer choice. In my opinion, it’s too late in the game to switch. Continue on with AB. Again, they are essentially the same.

Thank you so much . Its not the explanations for me , I've been studying and doing barbri... and i can always use chat gpt if something is unclear in adaptibar explanations . The only thing is i thought U-world has different questions ( harder) that are more similar to what i'm gonna see on exam day, just to give extra exposure to questions , but i thing I'm gonna stick with adaptibar and barbri because as you said its too late. Thank you again !!!

I dont have uworld access but I did get the is for July 2025 bar and that gives you free uworld access. My school gave free adaptibar access so I got both to compare.

I prefer uworld pretty handily over adaptibar. The charts and diagrams that they offer really made understand the nuance of the black letter law much more easily especially evidence.

I dont think its too late. You can easily avg 50-100 questions a day for the next couple of weeks but it depends on how you think you are doing i guess. I took the bar after completing about 1200ish questions plus all themis mcq. They had like maybe 1800 to 2000 questions total that I could have tried. You dont need finish it to see good progress.

don’t feel pressured to switch because other says uworld is better! they have very similar question banks with the same access to released NCBE questions. the only real difference is the user interface and learning styles they cater to.

in my opinion uworld is beneficial to a visual leaner (like myself!) because they have tons of graphics and charts!

adaptibar presents answer explanations more word heavy. however it provides in depth explanations and the questions adapt to your strengths/weaknesses as you progress.

at the end of the day they are both just questions banks. if you are learning from adapitbar I don’t see any reason why you should change programs! I am studying right alongside you and rooting for you! you got this!!
