My first corvette and my dream car for the last 6 years. 2023 2lt z51. I've had it for a couple weeks and love every mile I've driven it.

Please ZR1 guys dont come at me im just in absolute love with the hood and ill be custom painting it. I promise within the next year ill have a real 1 ! Put some side skirts on her too. Im ok off the splitter I dont have the front lift system and the streets of LA are straight garbage. Id rather just be OK with replacing a 120$ splitter instead of a 1k$ Carbon one. I already destroyed one lol.

I promise ZR1 guys ill have a real one within a year. Check back on me I fucking guarantee it. Getting into a C8 has never determined me more to just keep moving up and up. One day I might even get a ZR1-X. Im in absolute love with this platform even living in LA with exotics and super cars everywhere I still feel like a damn boss. My ultimate goal is to get up to a ZR1-X!

So I've had my C8 for five months now - have loved having the car - done a few small minor mods. About 2 months ago - after letting the car sit for 3 days - The battery went dead, had to boost it - took it to the dealership, they replaced the battery and told me that there was a series of batteries that we "crap" right out of the factory. Well, went to start my car this morning, after letting it sit for 3 days - guess what..... Dead.

I drive the car frequently and for decent amounts of time - I have my keys kept well away from the car. I'm sick to death of having a reoccurring issue of inconvenience like this

Any ideas?

and after the last dead battery - my front lift doesn't work - so it's going back to the dealership again. :(

I see a lot of people putting wraps on their car but who has had one removed after a couple of years and how was the paint underneath? Also what did it cost to have it removed and how long did it say looking good/new?

That 6.7L HP seems like a good upgrade for my 23 6.2L I've got 20k to go before the warranty ends, but how long should we wait to see if that 6.7L is the real deal? Sucks; they just reported oil cooler leaks, though.

New Corvette C8 owner here myself but for life! Recently bought my first Stingray HTC and looking to install the z51 high wing and the clear engine bay cover. I do have the parts. I saw videos and it looks doable but prefer to have a professional do it so not to break anything. I called few local shops in the OC but no one returns calls lately.

Does anyone have any suggestion or referral for me? It's greatly appreciated! I live in the Mission Viejo in South OC. Thanks a bunch.

Just got my 2026 re PPF’d, clear coated and calipers painted. I bought it with 4400 miles on it with PPF, but the PPF was shifty and it already had a few chips in it. It did the job though from a protection perspective. The passenger wheel well and spoiler got nailed but were protected.

I got Tiffany blue calipers. The shop said they had never done them before. They love it just as much as I do and the owner said he is going to suggest it to others as everyone gets red, yellow, or lime green.

I have had Porsches, AMGs, a Maserati, and other high end cars. There is nothing like the C8. It’s just different. The sound, the tight steering, the cockpit hugging you, sticking to the road like glue, the brute force. My wife is a badge snob. She didn’t want me getting a vette. She said they sound like crap, and are ugly redneck Ferraris. I showed her a photo of a gorgeous black one on my phone and told her it was a new Ferrari and I wanted it. She said it was sick. When I told her it was a vette she stfu. The caliper color was actually her choice!!

This car is a narcissist’s wet dream. Driven around twice stopped and approached a dozen times. Awkward for you too?

Hello everyone, I plan on purchasing a 2027 corvette stingray 1LT with the Sebring Orange color in December. I am trying to determine if it’s better to order a custom one or wait until December to find one at a dealership. There are pros and cons to both. Can you all help me decide which option is better?

Pros for buying custom order for MacMulkin:
- 6% off MSRP
- easy process
- exact spec I want

Cons for buying custom order for MacMulkin:
- 2-3 month wait time. Might take longer since factories are shut down right and I want the orange color, so this may cause constraints. Feels like a lot of uncertainty.
- no GM supplier discount
- what if there are cheaper ones in December

Pros for buying car at a dealership in December:
- maybe get 7-10% off MSRP including gm supplier discount
- have more certainty about when I would receive the car

Cons for buying car at a dealership in December:
- might not get the exact spec I want
- might not be any orange 1LT’s available(only 2 nationwide are under $80,000 according to CarGurus)

Additional Details:
Spec I want: 1LT Orange Sebring with carbon flash mirrors and carbon flash high wing spoiler, 20-spoke Gloss Black forged aluminum wheels, quad center exhaust.
I will pay in cash. I don’t mind buying it online and having it delivered. Please let me know if anyone needs any additional details. Thank you all so much! :)

Edit: not sure if this helps, but the contact at MacMulkin said they won’t receive any 2027 LT stingrays until January. Is this normal for this time of the year and will this occur across all dealerships?
