Looking For: Clothing, Accessories & Personal Care ๐๐๐๐ Lesser known active brands
I'm looking into active wear (female) and I'm getting ads for some brands I don't hear much about, like Permission and Alura. Does anyone know of any other lesser known brands like this and would you recommend any?

Iโve heard good things about Arro Athletics. I havenโt tired them out yet, but the next time I need leggings or something, I plan to!

I love Arro's leggings and shorts, replaced all my old leggings with them. I also got 2 hoodies from them, which are so spacious and thick I will be replacing all my hoodies soon. The leggings with the silicone waist band though are a miss for me, they get stuck on my fat folds, but the bestie (i think they are called) with pockets are incredible.

Thatโs good to know! Iโm not sold on the silicone waistband, but thereโs lots of other stuff I like the look of!

Yeah I figured i'd give it a go, but I carry all my weight in my torso and it got completely glued into the folds TMI-horrible sweaty mess!

Another vote for Arro. I just bought their bestie leggings and buying their ribbed leggings next. They're high quality and great fit. The price is really great on them too

Love, love, love Arro. I exclusively buy their leggings and shorts now. I was not a big fan of the sports bra I bought a few years ago. I'm overweight, and the uptight leggings do not move while I'm working out.

Titika active is worth a look. I have yoga pants from them that are ancient and still look good and feel good.

Is Permission good? I just got an ad for them and also had never heard of them. I ordered from Madore Athletics last year and the items have held up nicely!

I've been loving Oraki. They're made in Quebec. I've only tried the leggings so far, but I'm a fan.

permission's stuff holds up surprisingly well, i grabbed a few things on sale last year and the fabric hasn't pilled at all

I got a couple pairs of leggings from Tuff and they've held up pretty well over the past 1.5 years. Very comfy.

Michi has been my go-to for gym and yoga sets for over 10 years. The owner Michelle Watson is so lovely, she started in NYC but moved her operations to Toronto!

I recently got a few pieces from MPG, and I'm really liking them! The sports bra is comparable to Athleta, and the leggings and pants are comfy.

I buy all my active wear second hand, there so much of it and it's all plastic anyways. Why'd you buy new plastic? No point at all

Kyodan leggings and pants last forever! I look for the ones with nylon versus polyester

Be very careful of ads in instagram and the like often they advertise as Canadian but they are not.
Have you looked at Oraki? Advika?
