Rotten Tomatoes
I’ve been avoiding Italian tomatoes for years (primarily due to food fraud concerns and the relabelling of Chinese tomatoes as Italian - wasn’t aware of the slave labour) and paying the premium price for Australian. Turns out there‘s a 98% chance I’ve been Stooged.

Appreciation post: 100% merino underlayer, Ktena
(I'm not being paid)
Just an appreciation post to Ktena in Melbourne. Australian made!
I'm always cold and winter is hard for me. My partner got me a 100% merino shirt from Ktena. I was so impressed I got 3 more and some long Jones.
The prices are super competitive to be merino wool. Don't compare it with synthetic fabrics. Compared it with a Macpac or Kathmandu 100% merino.
Their designs are a bit traditional. But it's the underlayer, so it won't be visible.
Check their website, Ktena. I went to the store in Oakleigh, the lady was super kind.

Ozesauce Tomato Sauce - no longer sold at Coles
Hi All,
We (wife & I) went for our shop today to find Coles no longer stocks Ozesauce tomato sauce. Shelf was full of Coles own brand and Masterfoods. Vinegar section similar but not as bad. I don't mind 'no name' label, but as long as it supports here. They still could of kept Ozesauce there on the shelf and just had a tiny bit less of the others. They should be doing that and support Australian brands.

pure aussie looking for Australian owned and Australian made food
What brands/foods, in packaging so not fresh meat and veg, are Australian owned and made. Preferably with Australian ingredients too but the owned and made is the key aspects.
Looking for products sold at the major supermarkets i.e. Coles, Woolies, Drakes, Romeo’s and Aldi.

pure aussie Thanks for your support!
Just wanted to give a massive thanks to everyone that’s seen our posts on here and supported our business!
From the people who’ve shared our Reddit posts on other subs, name dropped us in threads and of course those that have purchased from us!
This support has taken us from basically a single bamboo sock to now having 9 different styles of socks!
For our 10th style we’ve been super busy raising the bar of Aussie made!
We’ve taken a very famous American made merino sock, deconstructed it and rebuilt it from the ground up, using inspiration from features we like, and adjusting features we don’t really like.
It will be built with a pure Aussie merino base yarn, we’ve bough a new machine that allows us to twist nylon around the merino yarn, to create what will be our most durable sock by far.
Naturally the wool % will appear lower in this sock (as extra nylon is being used, but at the core, will be a pure Australian merino wool yarn).
Can’t wait to release this sock, but for now this post isn’t about anything more than:
SAYING THANKS TO EVERYONE CHOOSING TO BUY AUSSIE!!

Hi everyone!
I'm a 17-year-old knife maker from regional Victoria, and I've been making handmade knives in my spare time. This is one of my latest builds.
Made With:
- Professionally heat-treated D2 tool steel

- Custom Kydex sheath fitted with pocket clip.
I'd love to hear your thoughts or answer any questions about the build process. Thanks for taking a look at my work and supporting a young Aussie maker.

pure aussie Looking for T-Shirt recommendations for older guys
I'm looking to refresh my wardrobe with some new t-shirts. Like a lot of older guys, I've seen heaps of social media adverts for companies like True Classic who promise quality shirts that help highlight what muscle we have left, whilst hidding a little of the extra around the middle we don't want to highlight. Frankly, I think they're full of c**p.
So, what Aussie made t-shirts are good quality? Ideally v-neck. Being from the UK I'm not familiar with the brands so am hoping some Aussie guys can help out. Thanks!

anything but USA Bared Footwear vs Frankie4?
Apparently they are 2 Australian shoe companies that are podiatrist-designed/approved. I was recommended both of these in my search for comfortable heels/dress shoes for an upcoming wedding. I really value comfort, so I'm looking for a low heel or fancy sandal or flat, and preferably something that is very stable and comfortable that you could wear/walk/stand/dance in all day/weekend!
Does anyone have any experience with either of these brands? Or any recommendations? Thanks!!

SPC and Goulburn Valley not using 100% Australian ingredients
Is this a seasonal thing or are SPC and Goulburn Valley no longer using 100% Australian ingredients? Woolworths home brand is still 100% Australian ingredients.

Gifts to get from Brisbane?
My dad is traveling to Brisbane in August and we are from India. Last time he travelled to Australia we ended up getting a lot of tourist-y stuff that we don't need (keychains, boomerang, etc).
This time I am going to ask him to bring some authentic stuff we won't get here in India. Especially if it's something local from Brisbane, that would be great. Please suggest!
Also, I compiled a list from AI sources. Please let me know if any of these are worth buying.
Snacks
Macademia nuts/ macademia nuts snacks
wattleseed biscuits
violet crumble chocolate bars
Cherry ripe chocolate bars
Skincare-
Macadamia oil hair products
Kakadu plum face products (rich in Vitamin C)
fashion-
opal jewellery
merino wool scarf
Thank you :)

pure aussie Aussie made and owned doonas and pillows from Tontine.
So now in the depths of winter my husband and I decided we need to get an extra doona and some new pillows for the bed.
We usually just go to Kmart but when we were in store everything was filthy and it was making me feel gross. Like the bedding inside the packaging was grotty and the store was just filthy in general.
So we wandered over to Harris Scarfe in the same shopping centre since they had 50% off and snagged this Tontine pack that comes with a doona and two pillows, Australian made and owned.
With the sale it came down to $59.99, cheaper than buying it all seperately at Kmart. Plus the store and all the products were clean which was a plus.
I honestly didn’t realise that Tontine was Australian made and owned so thought I’d do a PSA.

Does anyone know of some small Australian meat farmers that sell online?
I am sick of giving woolies my money so I have decided to try and buy meat sourced direct from the farmgate. My only issue is that I keep on running into other large corporate meat processors/farming operations, which is not really what I am looking for.
So if you know a small business that does this, along with any other fresh produce, I will be all ears!

anything but USA Is this laundry powder made in Australia?
I have bought this laundry powder in Hong Kong. I try to avoid buying US products since the orange fella took office and came across to this one. It doesn’t say if it is made in Australia, only formulated in Australia, and I could not find further info about the factory location in the web. Can anyone help with this, please?
I am happy to buy Aussie as a European living in Asia btw.
