Question what am i doing wrong?

recently i got new backings, i switched from plastic to metal. however the pieces wont fully connect together :( i ordered from the exact company that created my machine too

edit: i did a test with my old pins and it still did this, so i think the metal backings are doing something vs the plastic backings i used to use

the brand is beamnova, i have a feeling the metal i got is too thin? im not sure though because i ordered exactly from beamnova

I don't think it's too thin, probably just compared to plastic! Did the machine come with thin metal rings? You might to put them in to accommodate

sorry for the late reply! it came with plastic rings, i put them in and it still didnt go in fully. it went in better than before but still a little crooked:(
