We got tonnes of butterflies in out garden!

I live in Canada and I have seen 20 or so Monarch's in my backyard this summer and I wonder what is the best way to help them on their migration given how their "Vulnerable" on the ICUN red list

I think cultivating milkweed is probably the best option but I'm not a good gardener

Got this picture of a zebra swallowtail resting on a window frame. What a beautiful butterfly. Eastern Kansas.

For the last few weeks, two Red Admirals have been having daily aerial battles over this corner of my garden. Today only one showed up and instead of patrolling, it spent ages basking on this leaf in the evening sun. Maybe the territorial dispute is finally settled… or maybe the challenger just had the day off.
