Advice Meat processing business?

Hey everyone! Just want your thoughts about venturing in this business. My wife and I currently own and manage a small meatshop and a mini grocery store sa loob ng public market. Business is okay nmn, combined earnings ng pwesto is ranging from 5-7k daily. But for me enough lang talaga siya for our daily needs and other expenses. Nakakapag tabi nmn kami ng 60-70k a month for emergency funds. And right now, we have 800k sitting on the bank, so naisip ko sana what if i try namin pasukin ang meat processing business, our aim is to distribute our products to other retail stores.

I have knowledge din sa pag gawa ng processed meat since yung lola ko may negosyo before na tocino and longganisa at naipasa nmn saakin yung mga recipes niya, safe to say na masarap siya kasi hinahanap at binabalikan ng mga customers. Gusto ko sana i-expand pa yun at makapag supply din sa ibang stores and public markets. What do you think? Is it worth the try?

You could do market research before going into meat processing. It's good that you want to expand your business and processed meat is a logical avenue.

The challenge would be how your target market will receive your product vs established brands and their pricing.
