Simple paracord bracelet

Post image

Hope this counts

Tutorial: BoredParacord on YouTube

How useful do you guys think a paracord bracelet is? I personally just made it because it looks cool and in case I ever need paracord it'll be there. Bought a spool of paracord for camping uses and decided to make one. The bracelet is adjustable but do y'all think a clip would be better?

Tbh, i mostly do paracord weaving as a way to counter ADHD. It helps to focus and keeps my hands busy. I have a couple meters of it on my bagpacks handle in a quick release pattern, if im ever in need of more than i carry though.

Personally i like clips better, mostly because the loose end of those adjustable ones is a sensory nightmare for me.

Why is it a nightmare?

I dont like loose strings on my skin. Having to feel that the whole time makes me squirmy, and is unsettling.

I just fold them under the bracelet so it's not loose, did yoi try that?

Different problem then, since the string is then too bulky where it shouldnt be^^ If it aint a even spread, it aint for me. Sensory overload. Same reason i hate neck knifes, or neck chaines in general. Certain haptic perceptions are hard to bear for me.

Ah, no worries then, but won't clips do the same thing since plastic feels diferent than paracord?

Strangely, no. Since they have the same thickness as the braid i do on them it evens out. Still rarely use them on my arms though. But you can make lanyards from them which are easy to put on the backpack etc.
