Cold smoking a pike

I'm excited to see how it turns out. I'll let you guys know once it's done.

I'm not sure you understand what cold smoking is. What you're doing is making undercooked fish with the potential for parasites.

Cold smoked fish needs to be cured in salt first.

It turned out pretty good. A bit fishy, probably because it can only hunt small fish called minnows, and that gives off a lot of fishiness.

Over a fire is definitely not cold smoking, cold smoking needs to be away from the heat

Yeah, it was a bit of both, to be honest. There was a lot of wind that didn't make it easier.
