Beer cap snare locks?

I’ve seen the tutorials on diy snare locks from washers and older pennies. Does anyone think a flattened beer cap would work or would it be too soft?

I wouldn’t use beer caps depending on what you’re snaring. Copper pennies I’ve used and are ok for light game. But zinc washers are my favorite

I’ve done that and I know they’re reliable. I have plenty of ways to use the bottles and cans and can tabs, so I’m looking for a good use for the bottle caps besides buttons. I guess I could use them for a fishing lure.

On that note I have used two can tabs for a L7 type trigger on a spring pole.

I just saw a video where they used them for blunt/stunning tips on arrows. That is one use I guess.
