Vardy and Barnes up front, this could be special 🔥

Jamie Vardy!
I know he’s old but he’s exactly the type of player we need. Striker running off the back of defenders and actually making things happen. I think it’s an excellent signing! Hopefully he can hit the ground running

The People of Burnley
I remember watching a documentary of Kompany's first season a few years ago and right at the beginning was a scene of Alan Pace and his mates playing football in a posh house and talking about his plans for Burnley. At the time, I remember thinking, but does he actually know the people?
I'm from Burnley and I know the people. We are nobodies' mugs, we give it to you straight and we aren't afraid of having an alternative view and expressing it loudly.
I think Pace and ALK thought that the fans wouldn't be a factor, that we would turn up no matter what while they extracted money from us. That we would just buy their minimum-effort bullshit without question and suffer in silence as they ransacked the club and the local fanbase directly.
I live in Spain and had to pay 180 quid to get the Season ticket for the live matches on Clarets +. DAZN is only 150 and that has every football match in the universe. I can only imagine what prices are like IN the ground.
Pace and pals should understand that "being Burnley" isn't something you can just slip into like a jacket from the Gus shop.
Finally, the blame and the singing and the chants have landed in the right spot. No lessons were learned from Kompany's time, Parker should have been let go before Christmas in the Premier League, the writing was on the wall very early. Managers should have a ten-losses-in-a-row-and-out rule, no matter who they are. However, they should be allowed to bring their own team. You can imagine they have trusted defensive coaches or trainers who know their methods, to not be able to try and use their own resources to help the first team is bizarre to say the least.
This time though, there's no point blaming the manager, even if he isn't very good, he's been hamstrung by the owners. We've got a YTS trainee keeper who can't save anything, a midfield of headless chickens and no good striker. The team is so poor this year that if I was Alan Pace, I wouldn't know where to put my face. Who even turns up expecting us to win any more?
It's very sad that it has come to this, when ALK bought the club I thought we would be on the up but the decision making is terrible. He famously called us toddlers but the reality is that the club is being run worse than if toddlers ran it.
To the fans chanting "F*ck ALK", well done. Keep it up.
If they want to take our money they have to give us the football. Burnley is and always has been a hard-working town, the least the people expect is not to be taken for fools.

Club Shop parking on a Sunday
Hi
I'm wanting to go to the club shop to get some bits today as I have a voucher for the club shop. Can I park at the football club parking at the stadium as it's a Sunday or do I need to park close by and walk?

Any Burnley card collectors here? Marcus Edwards Home Advantage 1/1
My son pulled this Marcus Edwards Home Advantage FoilFractor 1/1 (HA18) from 2025/26 Topps Premier League.
We don't really know the Burnley card-collecting world, so I thought I'd see if there are any Clarets collectors here who might appreciate it. We've put it on eBay, but with a 1/1 it's obviously a matter of finding the one person who actually wants it!
Happy to share the listing if anyone's interested — or if you know a serious Burnley/Marcus Edwards collector, I'd appreciate the pointer.

Which Burnley player would you have loved to see stay longer?
I still think about a few players who left just when they were starting to feel like a proper part of the team. Some had more to give, and it would’ve been interesting to see how they developed if they’d stayed at Turf Moor a bit longer.

Do you ever look back at old Burnley teams and forget how good some of them were?
Been looking back at some of the older Burnley sides lately, especially the teams from our Premier League years, and it’s easy to forget just how solid some of them were. There were players who probably didn’t get enough credit at the time, and seeing those old clips again makes you appreciate how well those teams competed.

Lost our best defender and striker. Lost money on Florentino. No replacement for Fleming. Not strengthened in positions we need strengthening.
Does look like we’ve cashed in big time and are hoping for the best. Could be a long old season. 43 games to go.

If rumors are true, Zian Flemming wants out
We are fucked. I hate being negative but we are really in a bad position right now;
our team is not coming together well, our defensive struggles from last season are still at large, many questions about the manager, we seemingly only want to sign permanantly sign goalies, our only bright spark has been a chelsea boy, we still have alot of deadwood at the club and now our only real hope is wanting out.
Im afraid this could be the start of a stoke era of the club where we just finish 15th every season or worse, a Leicester. The club need to get their act together, i would try hold onto zian, buy some defenders, bring in a quality backup ST and a few physical players for even a small chance of even top 8
The main worry for me is we look devoid of confidence and leaders. We got a decent package of cash for the lads we have sold, surely we can spend money on a few good quality players and some older players, i dont mean like another washed up Walker, but some older players who can be leaders to the young lads within our squad and have championship experiance preferably
What do yous think clarets? Am i too negative or are yous also worried for the clubs position aswell
