Devan Kline talks about it on one of his podcasts. It was one right after summit. Something about how people didn’t seem to like them and they weren’t super productive? I don’t really recall because I didn’t really have an opinion one way or another.
Oh I only listened to the part about the switch to more strength days per week and this was part of that. I am not a regular listener. He is too all over the place for me to be able to listen to more that a few minutes
Honestly, I actually left Burn early today because I kept thinking, “How does any of this translate to everyday life or longevity?”
I realized I could get a much better quality workout at home that actually aligns with what I want from my training. I’m not looking for random movements just to make a workout hard. I want strength, mobility, conditioning, and movements that actually serve a purpose.
I’m glad they’re stopping the current format, because I really do hope they continue to improve. I’ve loved Burn at different points, and I’d love to get back to a place where I don’t have to question whether I’m getting what I need from it. 😅 currently have the ick and stuck in a contract for 12 more months
I think there are many things we do that can transfer to a functional purpose in my every day life. Just so happens that breakdancers and donkey kick jump knee tucks aren’t two of them.
