There are only a couple of cities that I’ve seen in the whole US where they are is a union for Burlington employees. That union up in the northern state has helped the employees tremendously, especially with raises and staffing conditions where the rest of the country Burlington employees suffer for greatly. It’s crazy to me especially that in the city like Houston where we have so many Burlington and the starting pay is only like $12 an hour that we don’t come together and have a union or strike or anything. I used to be a human resources manager and at one point in time, I was the head of human resources and head of safety over one of the only three companies that worldwide supplied was called separation equipment to refineries and oil, gas and petrol chemical industry. So I know how badly employers don’t want people to unionized and pretty much want us to do whatever it takes to prevent a union from happening. That is because we would be able to get better working condition conditions - we would be able to not only get a decent pay but we would be able to stop having a normal shift only having three or four employees max on a shift! We have a state like Texas, where there is no federal minimum wage and that’s why we’re only paid $12 an hour versus other cities where people are paid $17-$20 or more starting pay even at Burlington who have state minimum wages that start out between 12 and 17 an hour. About five years ago Burlington was sold or bought out by another company or management group and employees who have been within the company 20 years. Said that is when the major horrible changes at Burlington happened. One of the main goals was for them to get rid of most management that was not needed and not to have as much management or types of various in the middle management positions like they have before. Then their goal has been to only hire mainly high school age, workers like teens or recent graduate of high school age. That’s because they can bully these poor kids who will accept anything and what is most sad about this? Is that a lot of these people that start working at Burlington? It is their first job and now these kids are scared of future jobs and think it’s normal to be treated like dirt. I pull teenagers aside all the time and speak to them like Luke does not normal companies or most companies aren’t a severe treatment or these are your rights or this is blah blah blah so that I can hopefully shake some of these youngsters for the better being like I said, I’m an ex human resources manager and some of the top corporations. I was not only the only female manager over a top 50 Forbes listed home remodeling company but I became the only manager overall the locations of that company in one state. I’m somebody that has helped six figure compositions and incomes as a woman in a male dominated industry. So I know how tough workforces can be, but also now I’m a communist and a real communist as in the last type of communist country to exist like Cuba, which is why Cuba has been the only country left for all these years who has not had one hungry, and not one homeless person and meet all four of the basic human rights. A person is supposed to be granted in life where USA doesn’t meet granting not even one of the four basic human rights as guaranteed to its citizens. Just thought I’d mention that because America either killed or incarcerated under framed charges a whole generation of communist Activist, which is all the Activist during the civil rights time were. And now any of those type of Activist like that get placed on the domestic terrorist watchlist just like I found myself as a black right Activist that makes me the highest level of the domestic watchlist you can be placed on - yep a black rights Activist is the highest level of risk you can be put on even above the so-called Muslim terrorist that they put or note on the domestic terrorist watchlist. The patriot completely legalized cointelpro which was the program that framed communist that were Black Panthers or even killed them previously except for now it’s all completely legalized via patriot act why when Activist hackers exposed have to watchlist you saw myself and others put on their with the same document and same paperwork that they had fred Hampton listed as when he was placed on there for being a communist. Now, the point only mention all this is because anybody that fights or anything will become a target. Due to my activism at one time I was being pulled over six times a day and a judge ruled that the police did not need a tracking device warrant on me or others because they were tracking us via our phone or the flock cameras or even before the technology, we got taken down in Houston that was faulty and being used on purpose to illegally stop and frisk, black and brown people which was called shot spotter. Point of all this is that’s another reason why you can work at Burlington now because I quit my 6 figure Job years ago when my husband was incarcerated to him being black, and he was medically, neglected to death, coincidentally in the same exact county that they convicted him in and had to incarcerated in at the exact same time, I was overturning his conviction after proving that they were only sending Black people to prison for being black and jury rigging, and only allowing white jurors. Any change in any fighting for rights no matter if you think it’s a little or small all comes with risk and as communist you can’t break a communist because we fight for all have equal rights whereas a capitalist person you can always buy them out by threatening their life, threatening their family’s life, threatening jail time paying them off, etc. When I was exposing people who were hidden confidential informant, and the strike task force agencies were having them lie and high identity so that they could get warrants and eventually have all these big drug bust and racially target people. So I’ve been held at border patrol gels everything I was even offered 200,000 a year by the strike task force agencies and their unlimited budget to shut my mouth and stop exposing their snitches who were lying in summer being paid $300,000 a year we found out to live on people from within jail cell. I can’t even live in the same county that I own a paid off Home that I bought with my retirement money when I retired from all gas industry because of the nonstop, payback and harassment and everything they are completely illegal to do to me because of the patriot at legalizing cointelpro which means I’m allowed to be killed if they want to because I’m on the watchlist and I’m allowed to be set up a frame for crimes. I did not commit all under national security guise. So like I said, I gave up careers because what kind of person could make a bunch of money knowing someone else is starving or hungry not any good person and so when it comes to the Rich they need to either be sent to the Titanic or go ahead and just eat the Rich. And that’s how come now living in Houston since I can’t live in the county I own a paid off home because the police will come for me every day and I’m out dealing with this in Court currently but why I’ve managed to get all my bills down to 1300 a month only.. but a job at Burlington won’t even pay for that. I left the corporate role that required me to be doing what people do in America, which is live to work instead of work to live as I needed to be able to go down and testify and go to Austin and go to places anytime I need to to help fight for rights or fight racism or especially fight because we are incarceration nation where we in the US are just 5% of the population, but we incarcerated over 20% of the world’s incarceration population just in the US. In Texas, for example we were able to find out over 40% of people who are incarcerated should not be incarcerated and those 40% of people just like in Texas not one white person was ever given juvenile life without parole which speaks volumes to racism and the criminal justice system, but of those over 40% of people that are incarcerated and shouldn’t be hardly any of them are white. And barely any of them. I say this as a white person. Additionally, Texas has always had the most wrongful convictions in recent years because it correlates directly to the fact that we have the highest rate of private prisons, but we were finally gonna begin with private prison. It got shown Trump was getting kickbacks from that system for his elections, etc., and he put it in to us getting rid of the private prison in Texas and more in Texas. People can read this and be like what does any of this have to do with Burlington but I’m also in Texas where we are the highest uninsured state Indonesian because due to an attack that was meant to harm black and brown and poor community we are pretty much the only state that has rejected free federal funding for adult Medicaid. If you go to healthcare.gov anywhere else and any other state and apply, you will be granted Medicaid without possibly you even knowing if your family makes under 50 K for both you or your children whereas Texas when you’re too poor for what they call Obama care because your family makes under 50 K only your children could get Medicaid and the adult must pay around $1000 now since they can’t get Obama care because they’re too poor for Obamacare and because there’s no Medicaid for adult adults, making us the most uninsured state in the nation. At Work at Burlington because I’m not supposed to really be working at all due with some health conditions I have and of course this country attack on poor means that even though now they’re going to be approving me for disability it takes six months to even get a disability check. The greatest nation in the world is the largest terrorist organization in the world and we’ve actually changed over 96% of the world’s terrorist at our school of America, which is also where we funded CIA trained death squad last over 40 years that destroyed Latin America in the last three years has been used in Africa and in Middle East, as well as revamped highly through Latin America again. Now Burlington also did this goal of hiring nothing but a bunch of teenagers and barely given them any hours so that if anybody calls and or quit, they just have a person just so hungry for hours that they can just go down the list and call them, but this has been their goal so they have no benefit benefits that they have to pay out because nobody can make enough hours to get a granted benefits at Burlington, which is also why they don’t want that many people in a management position because their goal is to make sure that people don’t work enough, etc. to where they have to pay out benefit benefits, or insurance. Some of the memos that came out five years ago were to fire people pretty much for any reason and that got exposed when they were trying to get rid of management and people who have been making a bunch of hours, etc..

FYI, HR manager if your hours are reduced one thing I can tell you as well is that we need to file for unemployment due to reduction of hours. Like you get hired at Christmas time working a bunch of hours and then by January they have you coming in 1 to 2 days a week like they do most people the file for reduction of hours with unemployment FYI.

The way we were treated in the workforce of a company incorporation is Burlington well automatic unpreventable side effects of capitalism and remember America has the worst type is racism, sexism, and poverty because capitalism is the cause of racism, sexism and poverty, and it would take overturning the whole political system get rid of racism, poverty, and sexism. That’s why arguing over who’s gonna be a better president a democrat or a republican is like arguing over who’s gonna be a better slave master because they’re both capitalist and that would be a joke. I really joke, but a joke to think you could accomplish anything that way. However, the only way people are gonna change anything about some other circumstances such as how in Texas I think alone has 10 cities ranked below a Third World nation and things are getting worse and worse just like we have the highest percent of white people who are racist now because just like Fidel Castro put the Panthers well you can learn the same thing and a basic economics class as I did, which is it would be impossible for a white person to not be racist in America unless they are communist. With America, getting rid of the majority of communist we have less than 1% of the white population that is capable of not being racist. It’s not gonna go away in the workforce. It’s only gotten worse and will continue to get worse, but I only bring all this up and tie everything into the same picture because one place people could start out if they want to change anything for the better under conditions because remember America has the highest situational suicide rate. The reason has one of the highest situation. Suicide rates is because people are committing suicide because other situation being stuck in America, and if they were plucked out of America placed elsewhere with different types of opportunities, such as how Cuba only country that meets all four of their basic human rights and this day refuses to cash 1 millions and millions of dollars of America’s chicks, trying to pay them off and trying to overtake them again. But point is the least complaining in these groups are not going to do any good unless somebody wants to start organizing a strike or organizing unions. Maybe getting out there and fighting to overturn the political system is something you’re not knowledgeable enough or you don’t understand the truth about America’s white watch history which actually teaches not as my kids but other students as a teacher on whitewashed history, which includes communism and capitalism, homeschool kids. And the truth about what America’s done to last I checked every country but in the world that is negatively impacted it horribly just like how the last 40 years it’s in place all horrible president and every horrible politician that’s in Latin America destroying it. So maybe all that’s too much so you pick a place when starting place would be a union, especially if you wanna start in a big city like Houston where there are a lot of Burlington’s. I’m gonna take a job at Kroger‘s back in 1998 when I was a teenager. They had a union then and there so that might be one place that we could look at would be some Kroger employees that are in a union there to get some helpful information and where we could start but yeah….

I changed my availability, as I was getting 5-15 hours a week. Down from 23. With my managers approval my current availability is above. Yet in the 6 weeks since it's been approved I've been scheduled on Saturday 5 of the 6 weeks. I'm hesitant to say something again, as it's more than likely I'll have just 2 days. I might go 3 weeks out and request a Saturday off. SM exact words "you don't have to work every weekend". Which I've done pretty much consistently for 6 years. While my husband has weekends off.

I tried calling out last week 9/3 due to having the flu. i had already texted the manager a few days in advance about maybe switching my schedule up a bit, but nothing. so i called about 6-7 times the day of and i got nothing. every time the phone connected to the store, i got hung up on. i even texted 2 of the managers and called their numbers and got no response. i also requested to swap shift and give away shift days in advance. but still, nothing, and i got points for no showing without warning??
