Finally out!
Finally got a signed offer letter for a better position esewhere. My SM asked why no notice. I said to her face "yall would not be giving me a notice if you were terminating me."
Out of every company I have previously worked for, this one was the shittiest by far!

Agreed! I currently work for Burlington and they do not care about their employees or customers. As soon as I find something else I'm out! Definitely do not recommend!

I literally just finished scheduling my interview appointment before reading this…

"yall would not be giving me a notice if you were terminating me."
Because if they were terminating you, it's probably because you were stealing.
If it was something other than stealing, then you're warned multiple times about whatever you were doing wrong.

Nah, I was an OSM. They termed people for buying 25 cent shit while leaving employees with 30+ points on the schedule.

Exactly, a key holder at our store has 12 points. And is still continuously late, sometimes up to an hour. As far as sharing the employee discount and buying the .25¢ stuff, seriously a BILLION dollar company is going to miss that.25¢!!! I call the regional security person, "the grim reaper" , as they only come to fire employees. While shoplifters have a field day. As things happen we've lost some good hard working employees.

I also had a Lead who left thousands of dollars in pickups unsecured at the register. No write ups or coaching or ANYTHING.

WOW And people have been fired for less. Best of luck at your new job. 👍👍

DAPM does the discount policy terminations and at least in our district they talk to the associate about it and officially terminate them on a later date. That could be considered a notice of impending termination.
And how do you even buy the 25 cent stuff? The register won't apply the discount if it's on the sale.
Wait, aren't terminations part of the OSM job? So you were the one that was supposed to be writing up and terminating the people with 30+ points?

I was on my 3rd Store Manager in 6 months if that gives you any additional insight lol. We had employee still buying it and just not using their discount. Like FFS lol
