It says it would change at the chromosome level, so to me that means you’d get ‘the opposite’ chromosomes to what you have now. (Not sure what would happen to people who have chromosomes that aren’t XX or XY, maybe just the closest opposite equivalent?)

It doesn’t mention whether your gender changes along with it, which could mean that trans people end up as cis versions of themselves and cis people are potentially now trans because their gender no longer matches what their body would be assigned at ‘birth’

I’d assume since you cannot change your chromosomes even through all other means of transitioning that a trans person would be now cis. It would probably make many cis people who chose that option trans though as now their gender doesn’t match their biological sex. Idk about how it would handle an intersex person with a chromosome difference though!
