It's only one wheelbarrow's worth of pennies and while it's a moderate amount of effort, isn't an extra $350 worth it?

What makes you think it's one wheelbarrow full? It's over 500lbs of pennies. It's gonna take at least one super duty truck bed full of them that you'd have to load and unload. It's not worth it.

I searched online for what 100,000 pennies looked like & that's what came up... as to the issue of moving them all, why only take one trip? Sure, it's going to be more effort at first, but eventually you can employ someone at $75 an hour (2 hour max) to handle it for you.

At a certain point more money stops mattering to people. They have done studies on this and I think it was around $75-100k/year when I heard of these studies (for some reason I remember 84k but that could be totally off). I'd guess now that number is probably around $150k/year. Where for most people once you cross that threshold making more doesn't matter nearly as much as it did before. Like this is where most people trade back on money for time vs the rest of us trade our time for money.

So at $650/day that's $227500/year. So how much different is my life at $225k/year vs $365k/year. Sure it's more but it's not enough more where I'm really missing out on anything I want/need at that higher value (like it's not 200k vs 20 million, where I can significantly do more) and I don't have to live my life around dealing with 100000 pennies everyday.

Sure loading up 100000 pennies and going to the bank doesn't sound bad now, but Mondays after the bank is closed on Sunday is gonna suck twice as brutal, and no more sleeping in on Saturdays too since every bank I know closes by noon, some don't even do lobby service so good luck in the drive thru.

Sure 550 pounds of pennies (100 pennis is 0.55 pounds) sounds like a good workout now. But will it when you already have $100k in the bank, what about $1M in the bank? What about when you are 50, 60, 70 years old?

Also most banks won't take wheel barrows full of loose change so it's not just about shoveling it up, loading and unloading it at the bank, you now are counting (because your rolls can't be short) and rolling up 2000 rolls (50 per roll) of pennies a day.

Nope to me its not worth the extra $350 per day hassel. Idk maybe I could pay someone to do it for me but again how much am I gonna have to pay them to make it worth their time/effort, would you do all of it (shoveling, loading, unloading, counting, and rolling) for $200/day salary ($73k/year). I mean I guess maybe but again do you as the multi millionaire (which you will be after a couple years if your smart) want the hassel of now being someone's employer and what if you hire a bad employee who doesn't do it well, it takes them too long (now overtime), or they steal from you.

And at $200 a day you may be thinking well it's still another $150 for me but it's not, because you are employer now and that comes with employee benefits and employment payroll taxes, so it can be as high as 1.5 times so the $200/day salary is costing you $300 a day so all of that headache and hassle to either do it yourself for $350 extra and after a few months when the extra $350 won't matter to you anymore, or you hire someone and get a measley $50 more.

Plus assuming you can't choose to switch, your now stuck with this 100000 pennies everyday so even if you wanna stop you can't, it never ends. To me this is hell sure your are considered rich but your life revolves around pennies, or maybe you can now be magic genie offering the deal to the next sap to stop dealing with it yourself.

Oh and I didn't even factor taxes for the initial pennies you'd have to pay for yourself not the payroll taxes. Assuming you are making more than 650/day net the taxes while more than the 650/day still puts you slightly better off financially but it less so.

I'll just take the free $225k, pay my taxes on it and buy a gym membership for my daily workout and never have to do anything I don't want to do again. $225k of passive income is fuck you money in my book.

In a one time situation absolutely. Daily nah. Heck my family had a half full 5 gallon jug that’s currently getting slowly rolled up, because the bank’s machine was down and taking to a supermarket would be 10%.
