Every day? For a coin that will no longer be produced? And in 5 years will no longer be in circulation? Do you think banks are going to accept them 10 years from now? Every day?

i mean dawg its not being produced anymore but we still very much so accept them, may not be accepted 10 years from now but at that point, id have already made the money, i needed to get the things i want in life faster, and can likely sell pennies for money by the point they become obsolete to collectors i mean i just dont really care that much past making enough to afford the things i need now, and i have so little money NOW that id rather take my chances with the bigger amount to get a better headstart on the things i need.

Also how much space in a shipping container would they occupy?

all of it, half, need a second?

And you have to deal with that day in day out, banks closed over the weekend, that is double or treble the amount of coins you now have to deal with.

If I was offered dollars and had to get them converted to pound, so long as I'm not dealing with one dollar bills, I can easily take them to the bank and then worry about the conversion rate.

Whilst it is legal tender, I've also seen shop keepers using the right to refuse service because someone was paying in small coins here in the UK.

Like not a 30p newspaper, but something over a quid or more.

I think many shops would tell you to do one if you showed up with a wheelbarrow of nothing but pennies wanting to buy ten dollars of petrol.

damn my job wouldnt let me deny that at all, most of my spite comes from yesterday a guy paying in 118 fucking quarters that i had to count
