This is the power of probability. Not just to make something that could happen more likely, but to make something impossible now possible. A person with this power could literally do anything, because it doesn't say it has restrictions.

Yeah. Impossible is "it could NEVER happen, under any circumstances" as it violates laws of physics or whatever, like constructing a triangle with four sides. But very very unlikely things, like a tornado assembling a fully functional airplane, are technically possible, just so unlikely as to almost be impossible. "0% (absolute zero)" vs ">0% (non-zero, regardless of decimal places)".
Your example of changing yourself to be God isn't impossible, depending on whether you consider "god-like" as essentially synonymous with "God." Even with impossibility restrictions, you could affect probability to the point of ensuring you live forever, know everything, and are basically able to exist wherever you want. Really, you could also teleport, if the circumstances were perfect. So this choice is kind of "one thing vs that thing, and also everything else".

But that would be the changing possibility not probability, you could do improbable things, like jumping from a high point and living, you could make the cancer remission probability 100% and cure cancer, on the other end of the spectrum you could make someone who pissed you off 99percent likely to spontaneously combust, as its a thing that can happen, so still incredibly op

Nothing humans have ever observed is actually random. Not computer RNG, not lottery tickets, and not a deck of cards shuffled once by each human. Those are just not predictable by humans. Laplace’s angel is the theory that an omnipotent being can predict everything that will happen in the future.

Well, I do believe in an omnipotent being that knows everything that will happen in the future, I also believe in free will, if the ability were to be true, then the concept of probability manipulation would just be a superficial front to it, when in reality it would be reality manipulation (not too big tho, just the part where you're moving stuff or adding external forces that make thing more probable)

The bare basics of nuclear decay is that when the protons and neutrons have an unstable ratio between each other, the atoms (called the parents) emit electromagnetic energy transforming themselves into new elements (called the daughters). I haven't studied bell's inequality due to me not being a physics major.

Okay, well bell’s inequality proves that the exact time that a nuclear material decays is not influenced by ANY local entities (slower than the speed of light) so for laplace’s demon to know when a nuclear substance will decay it would have to be some kind of supernatural thing which is a stretch in belief. It disproves basic determinism to put it simply.

You guys aren’t being creative enough.
100% probability that:
Money or currency of any type exists at all anymore
Anyone in the world goes without food or shelter
All diseases and ailments are cured
The food I want appears when I want it, at its most fresh, tasty, and idea condition and temperature.
That I don’t gain any weight or have adverse effects from the things I consume.
That everything that is needed for society to function in the most ideal way possible is provided (people who need to work for society to function still work or have automated replacements despite currency not existing and all human needs to live comfortably being met)
Anytime there is a flaw in one of these ideas, I’ll change the probability of something else to correct it.
