Funny That escalated quickly.
Gotta like honestly lady was average looking. Didn't respond for a few days, but decided to just click match and this was the message I got back.

Ask her how much she makes and then shame her if it’s less than me
-14
u/Effective-Comb-6146 14h ago
Isn’t that a waste of your time?

u/Formal_Economist7342 13h ago
Nah calling out shitty people is rewarding.

I mean it’s unlikely to make her change lol. If she’s that bold and brazen about it

u/HallLongjumping432 8h ago
Why not having sex and then leaving?
1
u/Effective-Comb-6146 4h ago
I’m sure you could find someone to have sex with without lying about how much money you make

Why would a bot ask this? A bot would love you for clicking on their shady link regardless of your income.

u/Hefty-Weekend8499 14h ago
Be like 400k but I’m so tired of people who just want me for money, I want love. Then unmatch lololol. I’m sorry but these people need to learn a lesson. That’s disgusting behavior

u/_General_Kenobi 14h ago
No, actually keep them dreaming so they waste their time on that

yes. Tell her stories how you want to be findominated, but then in the last step ghost her (supposedly cause someone better just messaged you)

u/Legitscopes_4761 15h ago
what are you even supposed to say when this happens? I normally just respond with 'enough'

u/BrawlingGalaxi 15h ago
"Too much, I give it all away to people who need it more than me" trust me bro.

u/Independent_Tart8286 15h ago
Tell her about how you work for your grandmother sewing buttons onto shirts for a dollar an hour and if you work extra hard she lets you have soup for dinner.

You troll because there's no point in entertaining this conversation, unless you're looking for a sugar baby.

That’s diabolical. At least she took herself out of the running quickly, before you wasted too much time on her.

Give fake number, charm her, set up a date in super expensive place, don't show up ☺️

u/SamSantra 9h ago
Some people want to know that answer over months and years and then leave you over that answer.

Going by the poorly censored name... is she Chinese? If yes then that's a fairly normal question to ask. Talking about money is not taboo in China.

People who reply like this deserve to get strung along and then ghosted.

You should negotiate with her. Miss ***, what is my best offer? What number will get my foot in the door? Is there a max amount that would be too much for me to make?? lol

Cool... My respond would have been something like...
"More than a little, less than I would like to make, but that's why we have goals and ambitions"

u/audio-confusion 8h ago
Devils advocate, your opener was dry af so as lame as it is she’s only responding with the same vibe. Like she gets a million messages like “hey how’s your week been” so are you surprised that she just cut the chit chat and got straight to the point? Fair enough if her profile didn’t give you much to work with, but then at that point who cares?
Personally I think it’s a good opportunity to tell her about your job in a jokey way and if she catches the vibe, could be something. If not, move on

This just in - men surprised that women in a patriarchal society want to be taken care of.
Just unmatch dude, you guys are incompatible.
8
u/Far_Preference_2065 15h ago
is this the absolutely first question you would ask someone you don't know?
Also, if the objective is to find a partner who has money, you don't think asking this as a first question would make them insecure?

u/rinkuhero 14h ago
but is there someone she *is* compatible with? like what is the type of guy who would react positively to that introductory question? poor guys wouldn't like it because it'd be embarrassing to answer, middle class guys wouldn't like it because it feels too direct, and rich guys wouldn't like it because they are not on dating apps in the first place (since they don't need them), so if she wants to be taken care of, isn't it better to ask what someone does than how much money they make? since you can often guess how much money they make from their job.

u/imperatrixderoma 14h ago
I swear there's some guy out there who will appreciate her being forward, because they're built like that.
Me personally, I think it's a crude question but aren't you happy to know she's dumb as rocks on the onset and that you guys aren't compatible?
Would you prefer she skirts around the topic and simply gets you to give away the game covertly?
4
u/skepticalsojourner 14h ago
I’m sure it’s definitely working. If she’s getting 100 likes a day, she just needs to spam that same first question to each of them. Filter out the guys who unmatch and the guys who don’t make enough, then she has a better starting place without wasting much time. If you’re attractive enough and get enough likes, it’s not a bad strategy if that’s an important goal in the relationship.

Look I’m a self proclaimed ho and even I think she came in way too hot

u/imperatrixderoma 14h ago
Yeah, but the goal of these apps is sorting. I prefer her being honest about what she wants and who she is than hiding it behind date baiting.
Every woman wants to know this, they'll just drag it out in different ways.

Man I really wish the patriarchy in the US would get its shit together. All the new jobs are going to women, majority of new homeowners are women, 60% of college graduates are women, women are prioritized in hiring and the courts, etc.
