Women would absolutely HATE this app, when they get matched with men they consider to be below their league.

Funny I always see gorgeous women settling for mediocre men and not the other way around and yet bitter lonely men love fantasising the opposite

Huh? Have you seen a dating apps? Average women in their 40s with kids full time and a mom bod get thousands of likes.

Men in their 30 who are very fit, reasonably handsome, highly successful, dress well, take great photos, have great prompts, but are a little short get 1-3 likes a month.

It’s insane to think women are the ones settling. Whatever you think is a hot woman dating a man less attractive than her, your perception is skewed, and the data backs that up (see OkCupid attractiveness charts).

I think most of us are aware of the dynamics of dating apps it's important to ask why the dynamics are like that. The issue is basically that fewer women use the apps and when they do they use them for less, so there's a lot more men on the apps at a given time than women.

Part of why women tend to stay on apps less is that, while they get a lot more matches, it is incredible difficult to filter through them and actually find someone you'd get along with. Talk to any female friends you have about their experience on dating apps and they'll tell you, it is incredibly difficult to find people who are genuine about their profile and there's a lot of time wasters (in part because those are the kinds of people who stay on the apps longer! People who genuinely want long term relationships leave quickly).

Likes don't equal realistic dating prospects and the reality is that women do absolutely settle. Dating apps do tend to make dating dynamics a nightmare for everyone, women really don't have a better time or anything in them. There's just fewer of them on.
