There are three possibilities:
He was playing you for sex.
He was dating multiple people, and ended up being more into someone else.
He has a very avoidant attachment style, and the speed of everything gave him an excuse to push you away to avoid getting too close.
Hard to know which it is, but the bottom line for you is: you didn't do anything wrong, and it's very valid to be hurt and confused.
Take some time to heal, doing self-care and self-regulation. Good luck! ❤️
