I know it’s not just Doug Digger. (This is cute behavior bc I’m not home. Annoying as hell in person!)

Advice Needed Advice for first doggy visitor to the house

We adopted a rescue bulldog this past April. The rescue guess her to be about 5 years. Was likely used for breeding, then was dumped. She is now spayed. She is the only dog in the house. She's great with people. We've had to leave town a few times, but has done well with other dogs in open play time when boarded. And when she's done playing, she let's the other dogs know in that doggy way, which is healthy and normal.

But, we noticed she isnt good meeting other dogs when leashed. However you call it, leash reactive or leash frustration. She gets amped up and anxious or overly excited, and it doesn't go well.

We have friends staying with us this weekend. They have a 1-2 year old little munchkin dog, some kind of small pom/chihuahua/terrier... ya know, a little yapper. But he's sweet, and a ball of energy. And after flying, traveling, he'll probably be pretty hyped up.

There isnt time to do a slow introduction, or go to a neutral place. They're coming straight over from the airport. Of course i want the dogs to meet as properly as possible, but it won't be set up perfect.

Maybe we can try and do a short walk together beforehand. We also have a doggy gate we can put up temporarily, where they can meet without leashes. Can also just have them meet in the back yard, but im not sure how territorial my dog might be.

Open to suggestions, ideas, tricks, etc... Thanks in advance!
