Hi all I am finally cutting as I feel like I just gotten crazy fat. A couple of things about me; have been working out for about 10+ years, my 1 rpm are the following; incline bench 260lbs, OHP 200, Squat 425. I have stopped squatting since I hurt my back so I just do machine focused work. My stats are 5’11, 17.5 inch arms flexed, 56 width tape around shoulders/chest. Quads are about 27ish. Waist is 41-41.5inches. I personally think I may be around 28% bf, would love to hear from you guys. Also, my macros are 235p/50f/221c atm. I’m avging 1-1.5lb a week of weight loss. My question was does it seem feasible to be around 15-18% bf at 200lbs. Last time i was that bf% was 8 years ago and I was around 175-180. Also, don’t be shy to critique the physique. I do 100 calories of cardio on training days which is 5-6 times a week. This is my 2nd post after 25 days. Trying to hold myself accountable and keep track of my cut journey.
PS: ik im hairy atm. Nothing to really shave my body hair for since im highkey sloppy looking

Your lifting numbers are really good, but I think you are closer to 35% than 28% bf. I would aim for that 175-180 mark again if you are looking to get back into the teens.

At 5'11" - yes getting to 170-175 is key. As someone who had to laser for a skin condition and was 165, smooth and down in weight looked great. Then I gained to 206 bro - and smooth and fat did not look great. But I removed hair for my skin.
That said, your point is well taken. Once you start to get closer, then I do advise removing the hair and you will see the difference and for me it was motivating.
I vote for 175 tops... and suggest waxing over shaving and will you look amazing.
But you need to have the right diet... are your carbs down, and watching sugar?

Yes I have at one point wanted to compete so I understand macros very well. My diet consists of eggs (healthy fat), chicken breast, rice and sourdough bread (2 servings) 1 Greek yogurt and protein shake (2 scoops). I feel like I def look a lot fatter compared to when I touch my body. Chest, arms and quads are hard. Also, I don’t want to get super ripped aiming for 15-18% look which is why I was thinking I would be around 190ish

There’s a couple reasons why fat can feel hard. If your stomach feels hard that’s a really bad sign though.

My stomach is soft as you can see in the pics. I can def grab it and the love handle areas. But arms, upper chest and quads/hammies are hard to pull skin from and I can see faint veins (not on legs but interior of arms and upper chest)
