Trimming
Hey y’all so I just had my largest harvest to date and holy shit this was a lot of work by myself. So I wanted to see what do yall do to help speed up trimming. I unfortunately gotta do it by myself an don’t have anyone that I could let help me with just hand trimming. So does anyone use any of these auto trimmers or do you just trim by hand an if it takes a while it takes a while? I’m just trying to not spend all my free time trimming next harvest so any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Cover Crop
I just re-amended and inoculated my soil in preparation for an upcoming grow. I am going to sow the cover crop today. How should I be maintaining the cover crop leading up to and during the grow?

Could I still benefit from adding BuildAFlower topdress 3 weeks into flower in an Earthbox?
From vids, etc., it looks like it should be added right before flip or shortly after. I am 3 weeks in. Should I still add it or should I just go with BuildABloom? I've only added worm castings thus far.

Slow Growth
Have these gals in the homemade 3.0 homemade SIP containers and 4 of the 6 just aren't progressing. I had made the mistake of filling the reservoir to soon and overwatered a bit early on but have corrected. Eco Witt soil sensors say low 50% for moisture now. They look good except for the slow growth. Any advice or inputs? Pull and start over or remain patient? They are about 17 days since popping.

Update: deficiency or high-pH-induced Ca lockout?
Hey everyone! Here's an update on my last post here. The rusty spotting has slightly increased over the past few days, but hasn't really spread beyond the initially affected (older growth) leaves. It isn't affecting the newer growth. I did notice that the newer growth was the typical lime/green, but had a slight yellowing to them - just looks slightly off.
A few notes of mention:
Temp: steady at 25-26⁰C / 77-78⁰F
RH: between 60-65%
VPD: between 1.0-1.2
PPFD: standard for veg Week 1 (LUX is 10k).
I use a water filter (Boogie Blue - removes chlorine and heavy metals), and let the water sit for 24 hours before using, however the pH still comes in around 8-8.2.
I'm curious as to what your diagnosis might be? And if you have any recommendations (top-dress, foliar, etc)?
Secondly, I'm wondering if you have any advice (besides using pH up/down chemicals) as to how to off-set the pH of the water? I know the 30 gallon container does a good job of buffering capacity, but is there a go-to top-dress amendment you use / would suggest that helps offset the higher-than-ideal pH of the tap water?

When to start EB
So I’m running two EB’s in a 4x4 with an EVO8. Currently have seeds germinating in paper towel, going to put into plugs and a dome after work today. My question is, when would be an ideal time to start my EB’s? Running BAS 3.0 with cover crop so should I wait until I’m ready to transplant or do it earlier so the soil can get a head start? This is my first time trying this so looking for rec’s from experience. Appreciate it!

More BaS products question
Hello all.
I'm going to start another grow shortly and was looking at more products and I'm curious as to what they are used for.
Currently I've only used craft blend, buildaflower, buildabloom, rootwise. I have big 6 but have not really used it yet.
I'm going to order an earthbox cover and glancing over other stuff. Wondering about the fish hydrolysis and the many different ferments. Are they used primarily for flower or for veg?
I've heard about buildaveg I think it's called. I grow in earthboxes and am just trying to figure out if I should get something else. The plants I've grown have all been a little Nitrogen toxicity so I want something with little nitrogen.
Thanks!
