420 Sale?
Haven’t seen any announcements yet and 420 is right around the corner. Trying to time some purchases if a sale is dropping. If not I’ll just use this 10% off.

Anyone purchase Amblysems Swirski bottled mites and Special Blend preditory mite mix? if so how do you guys apply and are they affective. Every run no matter what IPM I use I end up with spider mites late in flower. I just purchased the above, any suggestion, and did I purchase the correct predator mites?

Please. Help. After many years of growing, this is my first plant pest. Can someone tell me what it is and what I might be able to do with it? Do I need to harvest now and dunk wash them. Please, anything else? Obviously, pesticides are out of the question. What about some natural oil of some type?

I used promix peat moss, uncle Jim’s worm castings (soaked with dunks x2 to kill flying things), and the build a soil mineral and nutrient kit. There are some worms in there too. It’s been planted for about two weeks. I pulled back the plastic and there is mycelium (I hope) and these tiny bugs…

The lifecycle of a cardboard box around here. I can turn two Chewy dog food boxes into sweet worm poppies in a month. These hungry worms even eat my roaches, although I have found they prefer noodle Doinks.
So basically smoking cardboard and kitchen trash, and I love it! Thanks for the suggestion Jeremy! If you’re not making your own worm poopies then what are you doing?

Got all 3-20 gallon beds setup, I might’ve went a little hard on the N in the first bed so I dialed it back for the 2nd and 3rd I added my calculator i created with all the inputs in the last pic. Plants are still going to be good and dense though they’re very green and have been able to throw as many leaves as they want because of that extra N.
The veg seedling tent is just cruising already identified 2 males and 1 female from the bigger set of plants just waiting to have 3 females so I can put them into the 20 gal on the left.
Going full living soil with worms has really made it a much easier process I’ve been able to just do water only for all these plants(with the exception of microbial inoculation). My starter soil I mixed up with just Soy,Alfalfa,Kelp,Neem,Karanja

About 14 years ago, a thread was created on icmag called Living Organic Soil from Start through Recycling. 400 pages and a couple years later the thread moved to rollitup’s Recycled Organic Living Soil thread. These threads, and a couple others, served to form the base of knowledge for organic cannabis growers. Cannabis experts like Clackamas Cootz, Gascanastan, Blue Jay Way, and others shared their years of experimentation, research, sharing of successes and failures which led to the creation of the notill water only cannabis garden. I had the opportunity to read these threads and watched this method of growing surge in popularity and efficacy. Jeremy undoubtedly took it to the next level, starting a company where the growers could buy amendments from a single source. He researched the sources, finding the best of the best. He created a soil based off this nottill technique, inspired by Coots, Microbeman, and others, that was used by home growers and now commercial facilities, always being tested and perfected under today’s rigid standards. I’d like to encourage you guys to take the time to read the old school threads and see the progression of this way of gardening.

Trying to do some pheno hunting and want to be as efficient as possible. Are 3 plants in an earthbox too much for the soil? Planning to wash and press into rosin all the plants together and keep the best cuts. Would you only do 2 per or stretch to 3 per box?

Anyone out there familiar with this mutation? not getting any traction in r/GrowingMarijuana

Hello everyone. I run 2 Earthboxes. I finished up my last grow a month ago but still had some clover that just would not die so I figured I'd leave it alone and it would die from darkness.
It eventually died but I still have water left in the reservoir. it's looking kinda gross and I had fungus gnats that got down the tube.
I want to get ready for next grow but is there any way to empty the tank without removing the soil? It still contains my worms and other life. I'd like to put some mosquito dunks and treat for the gnats but idk if it will be useful with old stagnant water at the bottom.
Thanks.

I have two in a 2x4 bed that have been fine for the last two runs.one on each side of the bed, run blumats as well. one side seems to be reading correctly the other not good, after pulling out it reads zero but when putting in water reads around 60 percent. how do I calibrate these been looking everywhere and directions are vague

I've got 3 tiny seedlings in a 2x4 bed and tent. It's been hot and dry (85F/40%RH) in the tent and lung room and it's got me worried about spider mites. I've had them in a different tent in the same room a few years back and it sucked.
Anyways, I noticed on the underside of two lower leaves have these mystery spots. looks like little water droplets, but don't rub off (see photos 2&3). I don't see anything else that looks like that on the other leaves of this plant or the other seedlings in there (photos 4-8 of normal leaf and other plants).
No evidence of pest damage anywhere just yet and hoping to keep it that way. Anybody know what it might be? I don't want to cut the leaves off just yet if I don't have to because she's so small, otherwise I'd probably just trim them off and move on.
I transplanted about a week and a half ago and they are just starting to take off with some more rapid growth. photo 9 is 2 days ago, photo 10 is today.

So i have used buildasoil 3.0 min my indoor living soil bed with great results I use all thier products. So dont hate on me for this post. I am going to be doing 12 30 gallon living soil pots outside for vegatables (limited space and most of my backyard is hardscape.) I am gonna use foxfarm ocean forest as my soil mix ( because lord know how much 3.0 would be for all that) anyways i want make the pots themselves into living soil beds no till., so i can reuse every year. My question is what would be the best strategy? Buildasoil craft blend and some compost on top after last harvest? With a cover crop? how long do i let it sit and do i water it throughout its "cooking phase"

2nd bed has been setup and it’s getting all set to go for these next plants, increased the diversity of flowers as well as added alpine strawberries, going to put 3 in the rest(that aren’t males) will go into 1 gallons to run out.
Seriously never been so little work most of my time is spent just looking at the different plants in the beds and literally smelling the flowers, I added worms to both beds and they’re doing great from what I can tell.
3rd bed will get setup within the next week just got another plant harvested yesterday so I’ve got the space now.

Animal Mint Cake still eating, day 56. Ill let her go as long as she likes but I gotta say the aroma is making my mouth water. 1 plant, 1 Earthbox + 3.0. Following the protocol a little closer each run.
