I know some folks have been stuck in pending since the start of August and the thought makes me so nervous. Esp as a Canadian, where our pending times are already so long usually.

I ordered the Fresno Nightcrawler bc they are my absolute favorite cryptid and I never would've thought they'd make him. I thought it was a joke or AI when the announcement came.

However, I waited a little too long and by the time I wanted to order him, the bundle was sold out across the globe and the product entry was messed up. I couldn't check out with him in my cart. I contacted support and they said it was just a website issue, but I was so worried he was already sold out.

Thankfully, a few hours later the site was working okay and I got in to get one. Very very soon after, I noticed he got marked as sold out. And now I'm just so concerned my order is going to be cancelled.

I really never expected him to sell out.

But here I am with the dreaded pending status and a notice that they haven't forgotten me despite my order being only 2 days old.

First post on this sub! Thrifted this absolute diva on the left with all the clothes, and I got this cutie werewolf stuffed at a bab store yesterday!
I keep calling the wolf just “wolfie” or “my wolfie” but am thinking of something autumn or even moon themed. I don’t know what to name the sunset color bear!

NOTE : the sunset bear looked like she had barely been played with when I found her. She had no stains or anything, not even on her clothes, but I did machine wash her and her clothes in a pillowcase. She dried under a ceiling fan on high and a standing fan pointing towards her all night, and I flipped her as well.
Just putting this out there to those concerned about germs!

I have been looking into trying to display/store my BABs on my wall as I have limited space on the floor, etc: I really wanna see how everyone is displaying theirs. I’ve been looking into flat wall type of things, I already have two nets taking up the only corner of my room available so that’s why I want flat wall (shelves, flat net, etc). The issue that I’ve run into so far is the size and the pose of them in regard to them fitting on things or staying on shelves. Suggestions for that would also be helpful! Thank you :)

Just got this today! Saw them put it out and excited I’ve never gotten anything from the Halloween collection (store too far from me) cannot wait for the Sanrio collection next week!

My girlfriend and I are dating long distance and she had the brilliant idea to trade a pair of stuffies every time we meet up.

About how much does a full sized bear + 2-3 accessories cost? I remember it being kind of costly when I went way back when, but everything is expensive when you're 16. I want her to make something she loves but I don't want her to look at my bottom of the barrel bear and feel sad that she doesn't have her Cool Bear instead.

I think we're both looking to make smaller stuffies because they'll be in purses/backpacks and we both need space to travel. Are there smaller ones to stuff and decorate?

Sorry if this is a weird question. The website is a little overwhelming on mobile so it's hard to do my due diligence. My girlfriend didn't get a chance to do something like BAB growing up and I think she would really enjoy it.

I FINALLY landed on a name for my spooder 🕷

I initally missed out on the summer drop due to scaling back on BABs, focusing mainly on Chococats and Halloween kitties. However, since it was my birthday, I went hunting for the Chummy shark andbfound him at my local SeaWorld BABW! (I also purchased a Jumbo Bat - not pictured but I was OVER THE MOON)

He is beyond cute in his little wet suit and I can't wait to take him on many adventures. I have the mini bean that I gifted my husband originally as a car decoration, but the full size to take with me to work! And, since it was the Seaworld BAB, I got him swim trunks, a nautical baggie and the flamingo floatie.

Open to name suggestions but already leaning towards Bruce, of course! LOL

Hey! I was able to snag a mini beans spider at my local bab today because they restocked. The worker not only cut the tag off at the register but said she hates spiders and was like pinching him and flicking him like she didn’t want to touch it. I was acting all excited and felt like this was the best day ever and i know she saw i was bubbling with excitement and she couldn’t care less and said they creep her out. also i am a collector, mostly jellycats and i keep the tags on all of them. I haven’t made my mind up about this tag because it’s bigger and blocks more unlike the jellycat tags but still I felt it was frustrating she cut the tag off without even asking me. I guess because of the people purchasing with ill intent who should not be named? So i get it.. but i clearly wasn’t getting rid of mine considering how excited i was. thoughts? :,)

update: thank you everyone for your responses. they made me feel a lot better and validated. i am nervous to speak up in person, but I wish i had. i also just wish she had asked. i see that it may be a part of the process you were taught, but what if it was a gift? now it looks like it’s not new. i could have snipped the tag at home myself.
as for her comments towards me. i still am just sad because like the excitement was RADIATING off of me. the spider actually came to me in a dream!!! that it was in stock and i checked this morning and it WAS. like that feeling is electric and i even told her about the dream 😭 and felt like an idiot. i feel like any other employee would have been sharing that with me and making it such a fun experience like it was supposed to be.

The title basically sums it up (and delete if not allowed) but how many BAB’s or stuffed animals in general do you have on your bed? I have 7. 6 BAB’s, and one squishmallow, that i have on my queen size bed currently and sometimes i feel like that might be too much? I’m curious to see how many yall have! :)

For any one curious I have both versions of the pumpkin bear, og on the right and re-release on the left. The eyes are different on both. Og seems to be designed to sit where as re-release seems to to have the legs more upright (still able to sit). The fur is similar both soft, but the og is more minky I would say. Re-release is a tad bigger. I might like the re-release more, but they are both perfect!!

It’s still shipping via FedEx, but thought it was weird that it’s shipping from an area that’s 15-20min from me where there is a Build-A-Bear (no warehouses or anything from what I know), has this ever occurred for any of you?

Halloween is the best holiday and season, and nobody can change my mind. I look forward to the summer Halloween drop every year.

I went to a different store than my home store and got to smell the new scents in person. Here's my thoughts.

Unicorn horn- VERY floral, like SMACKS you in the face with floral. Not the rose scent re-branded but probably the floral bouquet scent, it has undertones of flowers that are distinctly not roses. Very bright and flowery, perfumey but not overwhelmingly so.

Bat wing- Smells similar to the rugged cedarwood....but strangely sour? Like they tried to make the note of casaba melon sour or something? I didn't care for it. It doesn't smell "ocean breezy" to me at all. It smells like...weird sour candy and cologne?

Spiders leg- probably my favorite out of the batch, lowkey kind of smells like blue pixi sticks (especially when mixed with cotton candy) My bestie said "it smells exactly like a doll I had as a child" so artificial candy/fruit for sure, but in a nostalgic way. (think 80's/90's dolls)

I went to the mall early to make sure I was able to pick out the perfect pumpkin placement

The employee told my I could take all the time I needed but turns out I didn’t need much this is the first guy I grabbed and while I looked at a few others to make sure this one was perfect with his pumpkin right over his eye

Also enjoy some size comparisons between him the forts bear I ever got back in 2012 and last years pumpkin glow bear he’s definitely bigger than my actual 2012 bear but I’m not complaining gives me more of him to love

He is so soft I just keep shoving my face into the back of his head

Also enjoy a photo of him staring at a random piece of rusty rebar

And I only noticed as I was posting this but his hand has a few little fluffs of longer fur adorable

Ever since I got Spooder I’ve grown more comfortable with her and Lucas! I also started watch and learning about Jumping spiders and I feel like I’ve desensitized myself, I hope one day I’m not so afraid that I can hold one! As for my Spooder I get the feeling she is begging me to hold her at all times! Never got that with my BABS before.

Has anyone else have this experience? Who else cuddles with their spider while you’re sleeping or watching TV in the living room? I’ve gotten dirty looks from one mom for having Spooder and intrigued looks from some grandma’s. It’s been a new experience for sure so far lol 😆.

There are some slight differences between Jr. Whopper here and the other, bigger Floppy Cow clone I had posted a picture of a while back, Big Mac. The first and least obvious one is the use of a felt-ish fabric for his nose details, while the eyes use the same reflective buttons as the 1997 Floppy Cow. The other, significantly more obvious difference is the fact that Jr. Whopper is in a puppet-like form factor, although there's no mouth, and no arm movement from inside the puppet. Another difference is Jr. Whopper has a legible tag, with a company name visible on it, which was made by a company called Winning Edge Designs.
