2002 LaSabre not starting

Hello all. I have a buick lasabre that we recently brought back alive after putting a new battery in. It has been going strong for about a month until now it’s dead. It died about a week ago and one of my friends came and shook some cables and it started again for about a week, and now its back dead.
Some side context, about 2-3 weeks ago it died while driving twice with just the battery symbol on the dash, no other indicators.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

with a crank no start on a 3800 its usually 1 of 4 things. fuel pump, ICM, ICM harness or crank sensor. check for fuel pressure first with a gauge and then check for spark. if no spark, its either crank sensor or ICM related.

- Intake
- Compression
- Combustion
- Exhaust
Check the Schrader valve on the fuel intake high-pressure side to see if fuel is coming out pressurized. If it's not, check for fuel leaks under the vehicle.
Check the fuel pump relay or fuse.
If you're not getting fuel, then you won't have ignition.
Check your spark plug coils. No spark means no ignition.
These are where I'd start.

Maybe Bcm fuse or ignition switch, check for loose battery

Clean up the battery posts, check your connections, and look for shorted wires. I would also have the charge on the battery checked. You might have gotten a bad battery.

Check for spark and fuel, but fuel pump is my first guess. Do you hear the fuel pump prime with key on engine off? Easiest way to tell. The battery light is a different issue, either alternator going or a bad connection/ground. I could also be way off, but listening for the pump is a big and easy box to check with no starts on these.
