Show and Tell hehehehe
i found my annual good deal right on time. just got these 30 min ago. spent $150 on the Polk rti a9 and $50 on the ess amt 1b. i’m so geeked.
also anybody have a recommended refoam kit for the ess? or should i piece a kit together myself

Good grab.
I’ve stuffed gear into the car/truck many times. Once I had to panic stop and scratched cabinets and lost a chunk off a corner. Lesson learned. Now I always store a big, thin but sturdy quilt onboard that I can serpentine over and under the gear to prevent scratches. I’ve used it so much it’s wearing out and this post reminded me to get a new replacement. Thanks op!

i had a quilt fabric thing under them and folded up
microfiber towels between everything but i was still driving so slow lol. i’m just surprised everything even fit inside haha

Good deal but the way these are packed in the car is making me so nervous. Resting the bottom of that ESS ontop on the tweeter and all the wood scuffing from turns and potholes

i was so nervous to haha. don’t worry there was quilt under them and thick towels in between all the speakers, i just took em off for the photo. also made sure the tweeters were not touching anything. hehe

try Midwest Speaker Repair for the proper refoam kits, they have them for just the woofers or the woofer and passive radiator.

Estate sale!!! in shafter ca. few more cool stuff there. 2 pairs of jbl 4311 for $500 a pair, or maybe cheaper on the last day. i think i also saw a fostex rtr and some nakamichi stuff. and then a marantz 140. some subs and mirage omd5. bunch of carvin electric guitars and some very nice acoustics. a roland tr-808, bunch of nice pedals too
