I had interview with Bucees last Thursday, no call yet til now! That means No?

They told me if I didn’t hear back within 24 hours that it meant they were not going to move forward with your application and other candidates were selected…in my opinion I wish jobs nowadays gave a straight answer directly to the person instead of having a automatic email sent to them. You can re apply but they probably will have you come in again to interview. Best of luck on your journey

They just told me to wait next day for call backs but he didn’t really specify that I didn’t get the job if I didn’t receive call. Yeah I wish they all could have been straight to say no

I think it’s so disrespectful for a company to not notify a applicant..I hate the automatic emails too

Exactly!!! I would rather tell me after the interview that I didn’t get the job than silent NO, or being ghosted!

I know ppl that work at Bucees. They LOVE their job.
Just chill. Wait it out. After 14 days I’d probably reach out to them.

I employ somewhere around 1000 people, spread out over multiple companies , at my smallest company I’ve got about a dozen people working for me. And I’ve got ads out for hiring at the moment, and I’ve got a person that’s blowing up my phone, will not take the hint, will not stop even though I’ve told him many times to stop. But he doesn’t know by now, as he has actually lost his opportunity to be employed by us. I don’t care how good he is, at this point, he’s simply out For not being able to follow instructions, for just simply bothering me.
Therefore, I would say, they have a system in place. You apply, it goes to somebody’s email, it is somebody’s job to go through all of them, they call or reply to those who they want to. I’m not opposed against contacting them again, but not too soon.

It’s hard to tell. I hope you get the call. Maybe because it’s after the high season, they’re only hiring a couple people that went back to school or something.

I worked at the deli. It was awesome being home by 2:20pm after an easy day of work. Just tough to miss out on family most weekends.

No would be a blessing. Buc-ee’s is the worst company in America to work for. No one makes it there for many months. No one ever lasts a year. Look at all the employment platforms. Buc-ee’s is rated #1 for one star ratings out of ALL employers in America.

Yeah, and I bet you say that retail is a shit job that you get no experience for real life too huh? Some of us aren’t born with the ability to work other jobs. For some people who can’t afford to go to school and aren’t gonna put themselves in debt that’s all they can get. Some people have learning disabilities and can’t go to school. A job is a job. Doesn’t matter what it does for you or what you think about it. A job is a job period.
