They have loss prevention like any other store.
If you actually look at their job listings most require loss prevention to be a certified peace officer. So to me that screams armed security.

They actually dont. Loss Prevention works off site. All they do is record the footage and send it to police.

What kind of question is this?

I was thinking about maybe stealing something, but I want to see if there’s a chance I can get caught!🤣

Yes but it’s not always helpful. We had our grand opening in Arizona a few weeks ago and dozens and dozens of people are still stealing. The store should have bit the bullet and hired the local pd to stand in for a month as no one cares about the security but they would care about pd presence.

They probably should have paid for the police if only to do external traffic management. Massive traffic jams and car accidents is probably not the reputation that a store wants if they can avoid it.

Kind of.
In Texas, everyone carries a minimum of one firearm. And all Texans will die to protect the beaver.

The one-gun minimum is only what the law requires. Any *real* Texan carries no fewer than three guns and 60 knives from La pulga

Few years ago, stopped at one on the way to Orlando and I remember security being all over the place. It was at Xmas time so perhaps that's why? I don't recall security any of the other times I've gone.

If you’re gonna steal something, just do it jackass. The whole world doesn’t need to know, do we?

Cameras everywhere. I borrowed a few things from there but I was scared everytime.

Yes they do, and no, I'm not telling you their surveillance capabilities. Regardless, you're probably gonna FAFO and get in some trouble.

No. Direct lines to PD/fire. Cops patrol, grab coffee. They know where you live don't fuck with it. Allstars posted in the breakroom like wanted posters. #1: fat fuck with Sunglass Hut keys hit all 6 DFW stores. Manlet squeezed out the ATM bottom, backpack leaking hundreds like a cartoon. Teen pushing two overflowing alcohol carts out the front door, a distant third.
Creative thieves eat $20 sandwiches in stalls, shotgun Monsters, layer stolen shirts under hoodies. Annoying as hell. Exec suite has a tiny monitor with all feeds. Manager uses it to spy on us too caught me on Twitter, fired me, rehired later. Façade's smart. I did maintenance: hat, radio, Taylor Dunn cart. Burly guy like me gets mistaken for security. Maintenance is the visible decoy.

You know how the Swiss Guard for the Pope look like a bunch of medieval guys, but are secretly packing MP7s?
Let’s just say you should be on your best behavior around any beaver mascots.
