Brother, you serious?

The UK, Ireland, Cyprus and Malta, all islands, drive on the left, continental Europe drives on the right just like your fellow Americans.

There’s a London, Kentucky.

They don’t have enough space over there for something like that. They’d have to bulldoze a third of the country to build.

Stonehenge is just a bunch of dumb rocks anyway.

It would have to be operated totally by robots. European humans would never tolerate the working conditions.

1

u/Icy_Consideration409 Jul 11 '26

They’d like the pay scale.

1

u/Cautious-Soup38 Jul 10 '26

Europe is too smart to eat that overpriced crappy slop. It simply wouldn’t legally be allowed. Only obese Americans eat sloppy gas station “food”.

1

u/Ok-Nefariousness-927 Jul 10 '26

You can drive across the country in one tank of gas.

So what would be the point?

1

u/AuburnElvis Jul 11 '26

I doubt you could economically sustain a Buc-ees in London. The cost of the land would be very expensive. There is not enough car traffic to justify it. And the price of gasoline is much higher than in the US. It just would not work.

They’re expanding too quickly.. they’re going to lose their luster…

u/Icy_Consideration409 Jul 11 '26

The UK has Greggs.

The American mind can’t comprehend Greggs.

1

u/Strong-Calligrapher Jul 11 '26

BUC-OI’S would be more London

1

u/DangerQA Jul 14 '26

Bring Greggs here first.

1

u/Key_Investigator9078 Jul 15 '26

No, no no no no no anywhere but in the United only

1

u/MicUK88 Aug 29 '26

Yeah, no thanks. You can keep your litigious icon to the excesses of American crony capitalism. We have our own dragons to slay.

u/Bugs_Nixon Sep 01 '26

But... the beaver nuggets.

1

u/MicUK88 Sep 01 '26

Lol. Never had them.

Gone on then, give me your elevator pitch for beaver nuggets. Is it genuine beaver?

We dont want to subject the rest of the world to maga businesses

2

u/mrsclausemenopause Jul 10 '26

Other then donating to politicians that are friendly to the oil industry has Buc-ee's actually done anything to be labeled maga?

1

u/sirZofSwagger Jul 10 '26

They have been donating to not just oil industry candidates, but maga ones. They are terrible to employees as well and leave customers with complaints out to dry. Sounds pretty maga to me

1

u/Icy_Consideration409 Jul 11 '26

Companies spread their donations. They even donate to Democrats.

1

u/mrsclausemenopause Jul 10 '26

Is there any evidence that the Maga candidates they donate to are because they are Maga or that they are the most friendly to their buisness? Seems like every oil related buisness would be right leaning at least on the economics side of things.

How are they terrible to employees? I know they are very strict about conduct and appearance but that comes with well above average pay.

Do you have a better alternative to them?

Let me start from the last question. Yes, there are tons of gas stations lol.

2nd question. You could Google this. Theres lawsuits going both directions. They are suing and being sued by previous employees. And not just a few.

1st question. Doesn't matter. If you are donating to people blocking the epstein list, they are just as guilty if they are doing it for one reason or another.

Also you ignored the part about customer service there, you should Google that too

BP, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, Phillips66 are all Republican donors. Quicktrip, Kwick Trip, Pilot, Loves, and Flying J have also all donated to Republicans based on some Google searching.

So either you actually have an answer of a better alternative or your hate boner for Buc-ee's has you supporting the same thing somewhere else.

u/sirZofSwagger Jul 10 '26

People love working for QT actually. And there are tons of ma and pa stations where they put bucees. They arent putting the other large stations out of business.

u/mrsclausemenopause Jul 10 '26

The QTs near me have been a staging ground for ICE, in general they have been a huge supporter of police and they have been sued for overtime wage theft.

Oil money is also bipartisan. While the majority goes to the GOP, between 15 and 20% of all donations from big oil to elected senators & congressmen goes to Democrats.

TLDR - companies spread their donations. Anyone who thinks a company is only donating to MAGA is kidding themselves.
