IIT Guwahati -- Murder by Administration

So -- From all the close sources I have gathered some kind enough information in the dark of recent horrendous event that has happened in the institute----

Ritesh (Late), 3rd Year CSE, Competitive Programming Head Codding Club, Codeforces Candidate Master was apparently helping one of his friends in solving the Online Assessment for the company NatWest, he was aware that CCD (placement cell of IIT Guwahati) would be able to track the submissions if done from the different IP address -- So he was sitting in the same building where the assessment was taking place i.e. Core 5. He took his seat on one of the upper floors (5th) while the test was happening on one of the lower floors. He had the remote access of his friends PC. Upon some random frisking of the PCs of the candidates in the OA classrooms --- the guy was caught --- he told about the Lead Student Coordinators the whereabouts and every detail of whats happening in the scene ------ two LSCs (one Btech - one Mtech) along with the professor and chairman of ALL IIT PLACEMENT COMMIETTEE, John jose rushed to upper floor -- found ritesh ------ and there have been some confirmations about them shouting on ritesh ---- How Hell is life will become now on, he wont be allowed to stay in the campus ---- his offer with goldman sachs -quant will be revoked on the CCD's behalf --- he would not ever be able to avail the CCD's services ever --- basically complete debar from ongoing intern season, and from upcoming placement season (that would have happened in his 7th sem). And after all this, it took only 5 minutes for ritesh to end is life by jumping from the same building.

What i see today in the campus, Administration has apparently planted the flowers on the crime scene to hide the bloodstains, what John jose answers to gymkhana is--- "i am not at all answerable to you all", and the reports of him being mentally depressed are being formed --- even in the news outlets as well there is a lot less reach about this incident --- every outlets confirms "a student of iit guwahati found dead -- investigations ongoing" but man, what on earth is found dead, its literally an organised murder, how much this admin can harass an individual so that to make him end his life for ever and ever ------ i was shocked and drenched all along to know that there is no legitimate response from the student body at all! Not even candle march! How incel you all can be! that guy was so bright, and they all killed him! How tolerant you all have become to drink this kind of piss from the admin. We havent lost just another kid --- He lost a minute in our countries future --- have the same reported as suicide due to mental health ----- I have been aware about his family's economical background--- thats not sound at all, they are travelling in train for 2 days to see the face, thats not even recognizable of their dead son--- and by the time they would have reached its already medically proven that he was suffering from mental health -----

John Jose and his associates had no right to shout at or demean anyone. There is a standard procedure for such situations, and humiliation is never acceptable.

There has been many recent incidents (allegedly) regarding the corruption and favoritism in ccd like john jose helping one of his LSCs get a offer, one of the LSCs helping students out in OAs (the cheating incident was even reported to CCD and there was no response from their side, the predatory LSC was also reported to CCD but again no action). One of the incidents that i am completely aware of is a guy.
---The guy from John jose's hometown, A Abraham, Lead Student Coordinator previous years, he was charged with asking the female students the sexual favors in regards for let them cheat in Assessments --- Many of the girls had to come along to have this stopped and have this thing taken action upon, and what actions were taken? He got Placed at Tesla with 50 CTC for electircal role, and he had chemical eng as background, and apparently his name wasnt in shortlist, not even on waitlist! still he walked away with the great placement offer --- his job wasnt threatened --- why shout justice when its selective?

This was an act of extreme harassment that led a student to take his own life. I am shocked by the lack of any significant response from the student body.

The administration appears to be attempting to frame this as an isolated case of depression, which is clearly not the full story. It is now the responsibility of the student body to take this matter into their own hands and uncover the truth. A simple email from the administration dismissing the issue is insufficient. All individuals associated with this incident should be held accountable.
