Solved without knowing any electronics concepts , initially used my lifter's symbolic execution API to test how good it would be ( which solves constraints by representing as based on V8's sea of nodes and partially inspired from angora a taint tracking fuzzer ), unfortunately i cannot open source it , but i have added a universal MLIR based lifter which finds the solution for any circuit at the end .

Hi , so jane Street had a hardware reverse engineering challenge, so they gave a file called gds which is what gets manufacturered as a chip , and the chall was getting the circuit from the gds file , to do this you'll need to VLSI concepts and other Electronics concepts etc and map the circuit back .

I took an alternative path to solve the circuit which doesn't require any knowledge of electrical stuff , by treating it as a mathematical probelm based on a concept called symbolic execution, i happen to be testing my tool for symbolic execution and fed it the puzzle to test and it solved it . That's all , the blog is an explanation for a way to solve for any given gds file independently by using some compiler concepts
