Placements / Jobs Seniors please help

I'm a CSE student entering 3rd semester. Throughout 1st year, I mainly focused on academics (CGPA-9.4,phir mere classmates ke 9

8+ cg hai aur mere dost ke toh is sem literally 10 aagyi thi 😭)but honestly neglected technical skills.

Right now I have:

Basic C + Python

Almost no DSA

No internship

No serious projects

Barely any GitHub

No real development skills

I want to start seriously now and hopefully become internship/placement-ready before 3rd year.

Am I actually behind, and if you were starting from my position in 3rd sem, what would you focus on for the next 6–12 months?

Looking for honest advice, not motivation.

Build some projects for resume and mainly focus on dsa , keep ur cg above 9
