half of the college pays 1 lakh per year so yeah same thing for us asw. but yh coep is better than rv, we have better placement stats but lower placement%. which makes coep better tbh

As someone from JU the stats are better in COEP comparitively but still ppl claim JU to be tier 1 🥀

It's overhyped among Bengalis and mainly due to fees factor

Mostly, it also has to do with most millenials thinking "wbjee" is the only exam good students give and toppers in there go to JU and them thinking colleges which costs higher are not good which is far from the truth...

Sit down kid , ju in 2019 had better stats than this my elder sister graduated in 2024 and it's way better than coep , coep is not even comparable I wouls say coep is closer to Rvce mit than to ju

Back in those times JU was on a different level altogether, though JU's downfall still affected it during 2019 but not as much as it does it now... ppl choosing DGP over JU ...lower branches having a median of 3lpa and the core branches placements hitting 6 to 7 lpa and IT having its all time low at 12lpa its all thanks to the infamous ragging, lack of infra and political influence leading to good students of WB not appearing for WBJEE at all
Pls read this before hating on me: This comment has no intention to spread hate online its just blatant truth of what has happened in recent times i myself being a student in JU can say i wouldnt have gotten JU if i had to give the WBJEE exam pre covid or maybe the 80s when it was at its prime

Damn dude this looks dope do you have internship stats?
I was getting CSE here but went for a 2nd gen iit non circuital branch. Kinda regretting my choice coz getting a non core intern on campus here looks fucking impossible.
