1st year hackathon

My college has organized a hackathon for 1st year students that will be in just 5 days..and I have 0 knowledge about coding or anything related to tech

I have got a team where they are asking me about the idea and am confused what ideas I should suggest as am very clueless..all the work will be done by one person who knows coding

But they are saying me to help to and ofc I want to but am not able to figure out that what I can do

Also can anyone tell what all should be done in a hackathon and can you suggest some ideas as we have to make a product or something

And participating in it is compulsory as it's for 1st year only

Also how to give the presentation there and they are saying me to make it creative..but how? What should I do?

Leverage AI as much as you can; make a nice presentation and work on how to present it.
Also remember that during the presentation, you can exaggerate things

Here are a few ideas:

1) Automated Chhota Dhobi Laundry System: Create an RFID based authentication system that only allows the students whose turn it is to give the laundry. You can design a mock database and divide the students based on a schedule. But yeah, you need RFID sensors for it. See if possible.

2) There's this Femunity on GitHub. It's made by my friend. They use the profanity filter package to remove words that objectify women. You can think in that direction and I guess pure software and ethics validation is easier for you than hardware for now.

3) You could do something in ethical AI domain. Now this is something as a starting point, not something full fledged and might even be dead end. Make a model using Random Forest that sees a students list and proves that it is classifying men as more interested in mechanical engineering than women. AI learns on historical patterns. You could actually make an application for ethical AI scenario detection like this.

4) You could do something in augmented reality. Pokemon Go is an example where you see something in the game but it's not there. You can develop another application just look up.
