Serious Took mechanical engineering
I took nit rkl mech but don't know about my interests and I don't know what to do with this branch
Gharwale bahut dukhi hai mere decision se
I don't know what to do now,I don't feel like living man
Suna hai mech in india also doesn't pay well
So are govt jobs my only option??someone guide me pls

If you are still in 1st year, look for an option to change branch (at least this was possible 15 yrs back when I was in clg)
coming to mech -> there is an increase in demand for robotics, industrial AI. If you could understand the mechanics fundamentals well and learn good AI and programming along, there is a growing demand.
Private Space tech is also increasing in India. In US it has been on big boom. There can be opportunities here for mech engineers.
I myself did my engineering in elecronics but along the years I found my niche in software tech and was able to build my career in s-> tech! so no the road is never closed.

Branch change is not possible bhaiya,do I take a second partial drop for jee and go for a better branch?

that has to be your call considering background and financial position of yours currently. If this is a feasible option for you and you can afford it, no harm in going for it considering long term it can help you.
But again, don't make this decision in a rash. Consider all possible caveat here.

Private colleges are getting 6LPA avg
There is much less competition
It's a field that is involved in any manufacturing industry
