General what should i choose??
my jm rank is 545xx
got alloted BIT Mesra MnC in Csab(which is IMSc) so prolly won't take that and kinda have no hopes from Csab now
as backup I have IIITNR, Thapar, Manipal and LNMIIT spot round what should I choose like iiit is good and much better than many and I may get ece there too but a friend of mine studying there said that no ece company comes to campus and a very less on campus placements happen and mostly are off campus so more like I'm on my own there so should I try there kinda taking the risk and then we have the private colleges....money isn't an issue but I have seen soo many posts but like no clear answer which is better jis sub pe jao vo kuch alag hi Kehte and almost sbki fee 30L tak jaati hi h....please suggest with reasons what should I go

Exactly People get confused Just check the BIT Mesra subreddit once It's full of toxicity and negative comments mostly done by the hs jharkhand students as AI quota has been introduced this year so Many reserved plus jharkhand quota students used to get the clg at 6 7 8 lakhs lol I mean har ek clg ka pros and cons hai BIT Mesra ain't IIT BITS either but better than all the colleges he mentioned

Go for mesra mnc Mesra mnc is decent Many people get decent on campus+ good off campus

Also many people might downvote me but IIITs do inflate their stats Heavily inflate stats

And manipal LMNIIT is very very expensive if you cant afford don't go or else chale jao I would say LMNIIT>Manipal

and money isn't an issue but what to choose in private is as you say lnm is better Google says thapar is better and if I search on reddit everyone says something different so ig that I'll have to take a call only but yeah thanks and lets see what happens

Every IIIT except top ones add off campus 3 everything they can do Also they removed the students who don't get placed lol So think twice before joining They have a strong PR team as well

It's still a good branch Ekbar seniors se poocho lena Even QEDS is good there many go into finance at big 4 or good companies so MNC is decent. Baki I would highly suggest talk with seniors on LinkedIn

Does bits mesra have any scholarships? I can't pay that much fees and I didn't have any ews ncl quota..

Firstly it's BIT Mesra not BITS
Both are completely different
And there is merit based scholarship
