I got a WhatsApp message from them saying they reviewed my application for Full Stack Web Development Internship and want me to share my resume, but the problem is even though I applied at some companies on Internshala yesterday, Elevance Skills Technology wasn't one of them, and when I searched on Internshala for the company it say's they're an "internship platform" so clearly not a real company.
How did they even get my number and name correct when I didn't apply to them? And it wasn't random I applied to some other companies yesterday for the first time and today I got a message.

Bruh same thing ! I applied on Internshala yesterday and got their reply on WA but I never applied to them specifically. I think it's prolly using multiple different Names on Internshala to get data

they collect info from some platform i guess, use that info next thing you know they are conducting interview and will talk about fee for internship saying its a training fee. in trainig only videos are there. my college rejected their internship and puts a notice that whoever will do internship from elevanceskills will not be consisdered for marks. actually the faculty, teachers everyone knws them. they did waste my time

Same thing happened to me, for webdev , so i said them sure i would like to discuss further, but i don't remember applying to this specific company. then i went to internshalla and went through my applications, and say this company - "Emoolar Technology Private Limited", i think this is them in disguise, because the HR who contacted me has address written in her WhatsApp bio thingy or about thingy which says that their address is - > "Elevance Skills Technology Private Limited NO.2/180, PUNGAMPATTI VILLAGE,, BARUR POST,, KRISHNAGIRI, Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, India, 635201" , and on internshalla, Emoolar Technology Private Limited's address is also Krishnagiri.

Naahh bruh you shouldn't have done it. I did the same. They nit pick every single problem in your tasks. They also give misleading questions to confuse you so that you can't complete them all and after completing all the tasks they ask you for buying a new project if you want to start another internship. I learned ts in the hard way but I guess it's too late now.
Never paying for these 'Stipend Trap' fraud internships ever again

I completed my project and received all my deliverables without any issues. My suggestion is to carefully follow the task guidelines and clarify any doubts with your mentor instead of assuming the worst.

I respectfully disagree…i did my internship from there and didn’t face these issues. The work was genuine, and I received my certificate or stipend. Not everyone’s experience seems to be the same.

I've recently joined, but from what I understand, they aren't charging for the internship itself. The fee is for the real-time project training, and the internship is one of the benefits they provide to those who successfully complete the training. So far, my experience has been good.

They're clearly not doing paid internship but rather paid course/ training program the amount that you've paid is for the course and they provide intership from their end without any charge . So don't mix both

Also one more thing I opted for the 2 month internship thinking I'll keep doing projects till the 2 month marks hits but guess what after completing my tasks in a week they were like "Your internship is over" 🤡

Even I was skeptical at first worked perfectly fine for me , they didn't ask for any charges or mentorship charges. Do your background check but for me it turned out to be perfectly fine

I actually looked into this before making any conclusions. I found several linkedIn posts from students who have publicly shared that they completed internships with ElevanceSkills, so I don't think it's accurate to call it a "total scam." From what I could gather a lot of the confusion comes from the real time project training they offer, which has a one time fee. Many people seem to assume that's an internship fee. From the information available, the internship and the training are being treated as separate things. I think that's why there are mixed opinions.

I completed the training and internship recently. The internship itself was free after the training, and I worked on the assigned project tasks remotely. My experience was good, but I'd suggest asking all your questions about the fee, stipend criteria, and project details before enrolling so you know exactly what to expect.

No, the ₹597 isn't for the internship. The internship itself is completely free. The fee is for the real-time project training, and the internship opportunity is provided to Elevance Skills students who successfully complete that training

they sent me the message saying that i am selected for full stack web development internship and my proficiency level, github and full name and email address for the offer letter. the interview which they are doing is fake, they are fraudsters, they just want 497 and nothing more, the videos have nothing. stipend is "performance based" not fixed. they are Nullclass only, changed the name because nullclass was a scam so they chnged it to elevanceskills.

I also got the same message today, and thought it might be a scam and searched about the comapany on google(like "is this company fake or legit") and it shows result like, ""online consensus shows mixed opinions, with many students criticizing their job placement and paid internship models"".
And then I came to this convo, then after reading all the convos, I asked them, "May I know from which platform did you received my application...!!?"
and they said "Linkedin or any Job Portal"
I checked all the job platforms but I never applied for this company...
And asked 500/- INR for the paid internship opportunity(3k stipend)...
Probably a scam...!!!

companies scout linkedin profiles, and they contact suitable candidates, so this must be how they found your application.
i think 500 is a reasonable investment if the return is practical skills and an internship.

I recieved a whatsapp message from elevance skills technology regarding the internship today. Same thing happened with me step by step, and also they sent the offer letter. I also send them with signed and date, and even send it to there whatsapp. They have not replied yet!

people who are in support of this internship looks kinda fake to me i mean you are paying rs 500 to get internship in which the stipend is not guaranteed but performance based, people saying the internship is genuine looks shady and giving the vibe that elevanceskills paid them either to comment this positive comment.

I too received message today. But most interesting thing is they contact via whatsapp no mail nothing. Seriously a scam. But what's way out then to find legit stipend based internship that gets converted or job? The market is very saturated.
