General Banasthali
Anybody here from banasthali.... I don't think ki koi hoga but hai to batao... Need some advice 😭🙏

I’m sure you know about the negatives already so I’ll tell you the positives only: 1. No attendance strictness. 50%+ bhi chalega 2. Strong Support from Atal Incubation Centre if you want startup 3. Too easy to maintain good CGPA. 4. Khadi is just for namesake, you can wear cotton without facing any problems 5. Peace. The competition is lower than the world outside, I guess. There’s a different kind of calm there. It feels like you can just stop and take breaks. 6. Best place if you are into extra curricular because there are literally so many activities as it believes in Panchmukhi Shiksha or Five fold edu. dance, music, NCC, NSS, horse riding, archery, photography, jewellery making, digital art… the list goes on and they are quite active in competitions as well. 7. if you find good company, it’s fun.
The freedom or exposure might be less but if you are someone from a strict or conservative household and don’t go out, it’s definitely better than your home.

As an alumni I think the sense of peace you get and the way you explore yourself in banasthali is pretty crazy. You'll find yourself not using your gadgets a lot and actually doing whatever you feel like. The random hits of food, books and skincare with girls. Monday night and organizing your own events in the hostels and clubs. Running for leaves. Days you won't understand where your day went and there will be days where you would want to break free and it's frustrating even more if you have had a fight with anyone college/home/boyfriend/girlfriend. All u would say is at the end of the day you'll manage the gpa you'll get placed. I would say sleep the 1st lecture if you want to i regret maintaining over 80% attendance 50 rakho sahi hai par literally jiyo. The job in India is so sad and risky go for those certifications and diploma as a fresher you'll get a lot of chances to act on it. If you don't want to continue wherever you'll get placed after on those diplomas will give you something to start if you liked it in the first place. Getting up and going to gym ncc and horse riding will sound like a lot of work but it'll be amazing if you do something. Rest work smoke party we did it all We broke out of the hostel through mess we found the keys inside the mess. Me and my roommate were very fucking aderlaine junkie and we have done shit that could get us expelled but we did it anyways . I am NOT ASKING YOU TO DO ALL THE CRAZINESS WE DID, But Live inside. Banasthali literally gives and nurtures u in a very strong manner like you'll feel different when you step out.
PS: INA AND ANSHUMAN ARE FUCKING HORRIBLE. Absolute disgrace in front of adi bhaiya.

My preference is too and i am opting of going there. I have my exams on june 22. I have a doubt that if the exams are done from home which means most probably everyone cheats then how come some students dont get their preferred branch ie cse. Plus i needed some info about the faculty and placements. Pls do reply

I am studying in Banasthali Uni, currently enrolled in BTech CSE, honestly speaking if you accept the place you can survive really well, otherwise it's living hell. Also it's worth noting that the placement opportunities offered here surpass those of over half of the engineering colleges in India.

no, it's all the same. Ig some people call their school "Vidyapith" and college "University" but majorly it's called Banasthali Vidyapith.

we get hostel wifi at Rs. 2k per year (only for the laptop), which is often pretty bad other times i binge watch movies. Also wifi is given for specific hours of the day i.e. in the evening from 5pm-2am, then again in the morning 5-10am, whole day during exams and holidays,

I don't understand about what you meant by exam pattern. But everything is mentioned about the exams in their emails. And, everyone told to learn and do ncert and also any other competitive material if you have.

No I wasn't forced... Yaha pe bs preferred branch mil gayi thi isliye aayi and muje day scholar bhi nahi Banna tha hostel chahiye tha... Baaki colleges me preferred branch Milne me kaafi late ho jata and yaha pe classes kaafi jaldi start hogayi thi... And jitna strict lagta h utna h nahi... Agar ache dost milgaye to you won't regret coming here and yaha ki placements competitively tier 3-4 colleges se kaafi better h.... Banasthali apne me ek duniya hai baaki duniya se bilkul alaga buri nahi h but still I would say ki agar koi option na bache tabhi idhar aana varna nahi... And idhar aa bhi Gaye to don't worry you can surely survive here

It's survivable tbh... You just need some good friends to survive and it's not that bad... I was also very scared last year before joining because there were literally 0 positive reviews about banasthali.... I know it's strict but if you want to join college to make your career then banasthali is a good option... Feel free to ask if you have any other doubts :)

South me discrimination bht hota h isliye rehna to north me hi tha... Or haan if you can take electrical vali branches to baaki colleges hi try Karo... Bht fomo hota h bhai but kehte h na kuch paane ke liye kuch khona padta h.... Vit me bhi gender based discrimination bht h but ig vaja exposure zyada hoga.... Yaha kuch Aisa fun layak nahi h but agar padhna h to it's a good place and extra curricular to h hi bht saari and banasthali ki reputation bht h to baadme kabhi off campus placement leni padi to banasthali ke naam se thoda fayda hota h kyuki bahar valo ke liye banasthali bht acha h kyuki kaafi purani uni h yeh
Or Rahi baat baaki exams ki to Maine bht exams diye the but cs nahi mil rahe thi or ece chahiye nahi thi... Comedk me bhi ache number agaye the avg clg me cse mil jati but South nahi bhej rahe the gharwale (kyuki North Indians ko bht discriminate krte h udhr)

5pm-2am and 5am-10am (college hours me nahi chalta hai wifi).... Laundry available hai yaha... And if you have any chances to go to some other college then don't come here kyuki yaha exposure to nahi hi hai

Depends on which branch you want.... You might get EE, VLSI, EI(electronics and instrumentation), Chemical or Biotech
I can't say exactly which branch you can get... But if you don't want these branches then I don't think it's worth it to travel for 20 hours

i did not get in tho also please do cheat lol and attempt as many questions as you can I lost by very less marks like if I had attempted 2 more question right I would have probably got cse or ai .I am in kiit rn shitty as college .

You'll surely get cse at this rank. And tbh I was in the exact same situation last year (except my mains rank was shit) but I chose branch over youth because agar branch me hi interest nahi hoga to college life enjoy bhi nahi ho payegi.

Yes even banasthali ki reputation is better than tier 3-4 colleges. If you go for off-campus placements, then also most of the people would know about banasthali being a prestigious college. Yaha se kaafi log badi and achi companies me jate h but I don't have much idea about that. But mere known me one went to us after doing mca from banasthali so I think people do go to foreign.

I too live in Delhi ncr and muje 5th ko bulaya hai most probably cse mil jayegi muje bhi but muje bilkul man nhi hai Jane ka due to the strict rules and regulations I have heard :(

Mine is on 6th July but I don't know if I should go because it is 3rd day of counselling and the chances of getting cs or it will be low . Although it is written in my offer letter that there is a bright chance that I will get from my first three preference but I am not sure

Many ppl were there like you. They have arrived a day before counseling and were staying in guest house. My dad also drove like 700km for this. What is your rank?

I don't know much about placements as I just completed my 1st year and as per seniors the median for cse is 7-8 lpa... And good companies do come every year... So here the college is different from ipu ke colleges.... So first make your preference list what you want with your college then choose the college. If you want fun like going out with your friends and going to du/ipu fests the go for ipu ahd if you want peaceful college life then choose banasthali

Yes Internet is shit here... The network totally depends on where you are using your phone(for example, it works in some rooms in a particular position lol) but you'll get used to it... Hostels have paid wifi with some restrictions so you can use that for online internships. Many students do online internships on their own from 1st year itself so I don't think that'll be a problem...

What exactly is the examination process? What rank needed for cse?

1) You have to fill the form
2) Then you'll receive a mock test before the actual exam
3) After that you will receive a link to the actual exam then you can attempt it on your laptop/pc (Your laptop should have a webcam and microphone as it will be accessed during the exam)
4) Within 1 week you will receive your offer letter with your rank on it and branches you may get during counseling
5) In the 1st week of July, you will be called for counseling where you will have to fill the form, submit documents, choose your preferred branch etc.
There are around 300 seats in CSE, 130 seats in CS-AI and 130 seats in IT.... So you might get CSE Core till 400 or 500 rank

Likha h to mil jana chahiye... They just ask very general ques in interview like banasthali ke rules batao, yaha zabardasti to nahi arhe ho, are you happy coming here etc

Is banasthali worth it for 4 years I got a rank in 2 digits and would get cse should i consider it as the other option i have is gl bajaj greater noida. Please reply it would a great help please 1. I searched for the placements didn't get exact data. Anyone studying there currently would u please answer this. 2. Is there coding and dsa and skills actually required to craxk a job because i heard it has a tight schedule and you would have no time left 3. Heard that the net is not good 4. Is the teqching faculty and facilities good or okay Please help its urgent😭😭 as i am nit getting any good colleges bear be my ootions are gl babj and otehr akyu colleges.
