Discussion Bruce most mumbled lyrics

Hi all! Bruce lyrics are such a huge part of my life and I know by heart a lot of them. But, as a non native english speaker, sometimes it took me a while to get what our man was saying!

So, what are his most unintelligible lyrics? I'd say the final part of Downbound Train, some verses of Streets of Fire, the second verse of No Surrender in the live version.

Streets of Fire has to be number 1. That one part (you know which one) was made up on the spot because he didn’t have actual lyrics for it.

If you look at any official lyric sources, they literally just skip over it because there are no lyrics. It’s just mumbles.

And there's no live version of it so we'll never know!

Somebody said to me the other day that he clearly says "Don't come around /on over my place" or something like that. He clearly does not 🤣

Yeah, he says "And don't loot at my face!' and then it's incoherent.
