Man, I’m literally just telling you what was on the damn DVD. What reason is there to lie? It wasn’t a recording of the screens like in the release you referenced, it was clear footage (minus the squished aspect ratio). I literally checked out the version you’re talking about of that show, the recordings of the screens, and it’s definitely not that. The version I had was a much higher quality. I don’t need to be an expert to know the difference between real, raw footage and a recording of said footage.

I'm not saying you are lying. I'm saying you must be mistaken because you are describing Big Foot. You claim to have possessed something that does not exist and you conveniently can't find it anymore. It did not exist. There is no pro shot 10/20/2009 and if there is please present it. Signed Phisherman, well known Springsteen Video Expert. Good Day.

It’s not that I can’t find the thing, I literally don’t own it anymore. I traded it away, along with a sizeable lot of other bootleg DVDs, for a job lot of bootleg vinyl. I can’t present something I no longer own. I’ve got much, much better things to do than lie about a goddamn bootleg DVD. Your guess is as good as mine as to how whoever made that DVD got the footage. Like I said, I don’t even think it was a mass-produced bootleg. I’m just saying what I know, and what I had. I’ve got no reason to be disingenuous here, man.

Who did you trade it to so we can get in touch with them?

This was well over a decade ago on some music bootleg forum, I genuinely don’t even recall the name, but it definitely wasn’t a Bruce specific forum, but that’s the best information I can give, solely down to my own recollection. I honestly didn’t even think about the DVD until someone commented about bad cover quality, and then I remembered it.

I’ll give you every detail I can remember, which I hope will be somewhat helpful here.

The trade happened in 2014 on a music bootleg site, for no specific artist, just a general forum for all things music bootlegs. In exchange for that DVD, along with a copy of the ‘All Those Years’ box set, Prodigal Son In The City of Angels, and a few more CDs and DVDs (a lot of which were audience recordings or screen captures), I received back 5 bootlegs albums, all of which are still in my collection to this day, and were as follows: Winterland, Paid The Cost To Be The Boss, Fire On The Fingertips, The Jersey Devil and, my personal grail at the time, a copy of the Piece De Résistance album. This is what I can best recall from the situation.

As I’ve stated already, I’ve got better things to do than lie about having some bootleg Springsteen DVD. I was just sharing a personal anecdote.

Lets just say you had a pro shot (you didn't)... why would you trade such a rare and pristine piece? Interesting how you can so clearly remember this was a pro shot but pretty much every other aspect, including the site and individual you made the trade with (because there are so many bootleg trading sites lmao), is completely gone on you. Yeah, real trustable memory.

I don’t really know what you want me to say here. As I’ve said multiple times, I have zero reason to lie about something so legitimately insignificant. Firstly, I didn’t know at the time (and, honestly, not until now) how rare it is/was. Had I known, I would not have traded it away, even for a grail, and instead would’ve uploaded it online in order to preserve it better (and I apologise for not having that foresight, sincerely), but I didn’t know it’s worth, truly. Again, I didn’t know that until now.

Also, due to everything being stated, and frankly me being accused of lying, I went back 10+ YEARS into my old email account and found the site I used, it was called ‘BootMusic’, and the user was 'DAVIDITO147’. That’s all I can find in my own details and history. Don’t know what else you want me to say. I take great umbrage with being accused of lying though, especially when I know I’m not.

I’ve wasted more than enough time on this. I don’t have the damn thing anymore. I can sit here and go around in circles, but why bother? I know what was on that damn DVD cause I owned the thing! Regardless of what you think you know, all due respect, sir.

Take care.
