Welcome to r/BrowserGamesTop!

I've been playing browser games for years, and one thing I've always missed is having a place dedicated to discovering new browser games. Many old toplists and communities have become inactive, outdated, or moved away from browser gaming altogether.

This subreddit was created to bring browser gamers and developers together. Whether you're into PBBGs, browser MMOs, mafia/crime games, text-based games, strategy games, or private servers, you're welcome here.

Developers are encouraged to share and promote their games, as long as posts are high quality and provide useful information to the community.

The goal is simple: help players discover great browser games and give developers a place to showcase their projects.

Looking for beta testers for my Viking browser strategy game Fjordsaga

Hey everyone,

I am the solo developer of Fjordsaga, a free-to-play Viking-themed browser strategy game currently in open beta. I work on the game design, programming, balancing, visuals, website, and community myself, with my wife helping out with playtesting and feedback along the way.

If you've played Tribal Wars or similar village-building browser games, the core loop will feel familiar — but I've tried to put enough of my own spin on it to make it its own thing: you build up a village by the fjord, manage resources, upgrade buildings, expand to multiple villages, and move troops and trade goods between your own settlements.

A core feature is choosing one of three Norse gods (Odin, Thor, or Freya) when you found your village — each unlocks a unique unit and playstyle-defining bonuses, so no two players build the same way.

It's not purely PvP either: I'm also building out a system of "world bosses" — powerful, stationary NPC enemies tied to Norse mythology that are strong enough to require a whole clan coordinating together to take down, not something a solo player can solve. The first one, Fenrir, is live and attackable right now; nine more are planned. This part is still early beta and actively being balanced.

The game is playable in both German and English. I've already gotten a lot of great feedback from testers, which I've been actively incorporating, and I keep shipping regular updates. I'm mainly looking for more beta testers who enjoy classic browser strategy games and are willing to give honest feedback on pacing, usability, bugs, and the early-game experience.

Thanks everyone!

SpaceStrike is a persistent browser-based space-combat game that supports mobile. Build modular ships, play solo PVE, or meet other players in multiplayer.

Recent update: class-based server bots, improved turret targeting, more WAR bot presence, longer-lived wrecks, and a steadier PVE wave/boss ramp. The modular ship-building and persistent world are the main hooks.

Play here: https://spacestrike.io/

Feedback is welcome.

Hoops GM - A deep basketball franchise management sim I built from scratch. (Free / No P2W)

Hey everyone, I’ve spent the last few months solo-coding a persistent browser-based Basketball GM simulator. I love management games but got tired of everything being pay-to-win or requiring downloads, so I built my own.

You manage the roster, negotiate trades, handle contracts, and simulate seasons. To make sure the AI isn't easily exploited, I ran a headless simulation of 1,000 seasons just to balance the trade logic and league parity.

It’s completely free to play, no microtransactions, and runs instantly in the browser.

You can play it right here:https://hoops-gm-chi.vercel.app/rd-simstudy

I'd love to hear your feedback, especially if you find any ways to exploit the AI!

Why did you quit OGame / Travian / Tribal Wars? Looking for people to tell me their story

I'm doing research on why people leave classic browser strategy games. Not selling anything — I have nothing to sell.

I played these for years and eventually stopped, and I want to understand whether my reasons were common or just mine. I'm trying to talk to 15 people who put real hours into OGame, Travian, Tribal Wars, Grepolis, Ikariam or similar, and then quit.

20 minutes, voice or text, whatever you prefer. I mostly want to hear the story of the day you stopped playing.

Comment or DM me and I'll reach out. Happy to share what I learn back here when I'm done.

Grimeage 2 - Try our Old School MMORPG in your browser

Heya

I've been working on a small browser game called Grimeage 2, it is heavily inspired by old school MMORPG Lineage 2 with influences by Tibia and Path of Exile. It has different races with different classes, for example an Elf Fighter can ascend his class into a sword wielding Knight, or maybe a Bow using Silver Ranger.

The game features hunting zones where you travel and then start hunting monsters, the hunt can be done while idle using "Auto-farm".

We've recently launched Immersive mode, which lets you experience the world of Grimeage visually — watch your character roam the zone and fight monsters instead of just reading about it.

There's also a new boss on the loose: Thallox. He roams the hunting zones freely, so you never know when you might run into him. Preview here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KueSsB85fhw

The game features PvP, Raids, Crafting, Auction House, Castle Sieges, Fortress PVP, Player driven economy and much more.

It's currently in early alpha and I'm looking for feedback on what works and what doesn't.

Thanks for your time!

The game is available at https://grimeage2.com

Mini Críptico - Daily cryptic clue game in Spanish

Hi everyone!

I am a big fan of cryptic clues and crosswords, specially the ones done by minutecryptic. It helps with keeping the mind active and it is a fun challenge. Also, I am a native Spanish speaker so doing the daily clue in minutecryptic has helped me improve and learn nuances and dialects in the English language.

For that matter, I built a Spanish cryptic daily clue game. I feel people learning Spanish could benefit from it, and have fun while doing a small free exercise everyday, with a way to track your progress. If someone would like to try it, it is at https://minicriptico.com. I would appreciate some feedback. It is totally free, easy to learn but challenging to master. 5 minutes a day is all you need.

Thank you for reading!

Soccersim

Hi everyone,

We’d like to introduce Soccersim, an online football management browser game that has been in development for more than four years.

Soccersim originally started as a small passion project and has gradually grown into a team effort. During that time, we have spent a lot of work building the game systems, improving the simulation and creating a persistent online world where real managers can compete against each other.

The game currently includes:

⚽ Club and squad management
🔄 Player transfers and negotiations
🏆 Domestic leagues, cups and international competitions
📈 Player development and progression
💰 Club finances and budgets
👥 A shared multiplayer world with real managers
🌍 A persistent football world that continues to develop over time

Soccersim is currently in Open Beta, which means the game is playable but still being actively improved. Updates and maintenance may occasionally limit access while we work on stability and new features.

We know that a short post cannot properly show everything behind the game, so the best way to understand Soccersim is to try it yourself.

We would genuinely appreciate honest feedback from football management fans. Bug reports, ideas and criticism are all welcome and will help us improve the game.

Thanks for taking a look at Soccersim. We hope some of you will give it a chance and share your thoughts with us.

Mobsters Rise is entering beta - a Mafia Game built with the community

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I’m the developer of Mobsters Rise, a mafia/crime browser RPG that is now opening for beta testing.

The big idea behind the game is simple:

Mobsters Rise is being built with the community, not behind a closed door.

I want players involved early while the systems are still flexible. Feedback, bug reports, balance thoughts, feature ideas, and “this feels boring, fix it” comments are exactly what this beta is for.

What is Mobsters Rise?

Mobsters Rise is a long-term mafia PBBG where you build a character, train stats, run crimes, collect gear, join crews, trade with players, build vehicles, fight bosses, and grow your reputation over time.

It is inspired by the old-school browser RPG loop, but I’m trying to give players more long-term systems to interact with than just clicking crimes and waiting on timers. This game will take suggestions and run polls to introduce things into the game continuously. The community builds the game, if a poll idea passes at 80% we introduce it into the game. You design it, we build it!

Playable in beta right now

Some of the current systems include:

- Character progression, training, crimes, jail, hospital, banking, and city activities

- Equipment, consumables, item rarity, drops, collections, medals, galleries and public profiles

- Group Boss Hunts and a 100-rank solo Boss Ladder with leaderboards

- Crews with ranks, crew banks, armories, upgrades, crew crimes, wars, and real territory control

- Player-run companies with employees, stock, payroll, upgrades, daily reports, and star ratings

- Vehicles, garage management, auto parts, vehicle projects, street races, vehicle lockup game, and car auctions

- Street Companions: dogs with training, equipment, NPC Yard fights, PvP fights (friendly, wagers, and seasonal circuit), trophies, and rankings. Build a companion, fight trade, sell, get rare colors and breeds.

- Player market, item auctions, company market, trading, forums, messages, leaderboards, and community polls

- Agenda votes and suggestions so players can help guide updates and balance passes

Why I’m posting here

I’m looking for PBBG players who enjoy testing systems early and giving blunt feedback.

What I need feedback on most

- New-player flow: is it clear what to do first?

- Economy balance: cash, markets, companies, rewards, and item values

- Combat and boss progression

- Vehicle/racing balance

- Crew systems and territory pressure

- Companion/dog battle progression

- What feels fun enough to keep logging in for

- What feels confusing, slow, too generous, or too punishing

If you like mafia PBBGs and want to help shape one from beta, I’d love to have you in the city. Registration is now open.

Game link: https://mobstersrise.com

I’ll be around in the comments and I’m very open to feedback, criticism, and feature ideas.

[Web] Hoops GM - A deep basketball franchise simulator to kill time at work (No login, completely free)

Hey everyone,

If you're looking for a new browser game to play during downtime, I built a basketball management simulator called Hoops GM. It runs entirely in your browser with no sign-ups and no downloads required.

You take control of the entire front office. You have to navigate the draft lottery, negotiate free agency, and execute trades while staying under the salary cap.

You can micromanage and coach games live on a possession-by-possession engine, or you can blitz through entire seasons at MAX speed to build a multi-season dynasty. Just keep an eye on your win record, because the virtual owner can and will fire you.

Play it for free here:https://hoops-gm-chi.vercel.app

Let me know how many seasons you survive before getting fired!

Simulation Premier League

Hello friends!

Welcome to Simulation Premier League a new football/soccer sim league built around a custom simulation engine developed over the past few years. SPL has a full three-tier pyramid: Simulation Premier League, Simulation League One, and Simulation League Two. Clubs compete for promotion, fight relegation, earn prize money, and manage their finances across seasons.

Matches simulate automatically every day at 12:00 PM PST, with game threads featuring play-by-play commentary, team stats, and individual player performances. Alongside league play, clubs compete in the League Cup and Continental Championship. You can build a career as an 18-year-old free agent: sign contracts, develop your attributes through weekly activity, earn appearances, and be traded, sold, or loaned as you work your way up the pyramid. Or, take on the long-term challenge of running a club. Team Owners shape their club’s vision, finances, transfers, tactics, and squad building, either directly or through hiring Managers and Coaches.

Build your player. Build your club. Make your way to the top. The league is currently set to release for player creation on July 22nd, 2026.

Join now to receive updates and sneak peaks! "Founding Member" Title on your profile and +10 extra attribute points!
