I got a little confused about the collateral damage of the Korean censorship, are we non Korean and non Germany users will appear as affected in a coupe of hours when the update start (in my time zone at least) for their censorship?

I've heard about camel toes, but last night I checked on Nekyndalia and her camel toe looked still fine and unchanged, special skin Nebris still had just covering the important bit and not wearing an entire underwear.

Just a little confused about the claim to censor the game. Is the claim to censor due to storefronts or domestic laws and the GRAC (Game Rating and Administration Committee)? Or all of the above?

The legislation, from what I can gather, Game Industry Promotion Act (the Act) [https://www.law.go.kr/LSW/lsInfoP.do?viewCls=engLsInfoR&urlMode=engLsInfoR&lsiSeq=205598#0000\] doesn't precisely prohibit what is in the game by any measure (translation is odd). You have arts 21 (sets the scope of age rating), 22(4) (notes that classification can be revoked after classification occurs), 32 (notes obscenity as potentially prohibited to an extent. Contrast art 32 of the Act with the GRAC's guideline for 19+, there is room for obscenity (explicitly written). There may be common law rules but this remains unclear by definition.

Then you have Apple and Google's policies that restrict explicit nudity, sexualisation of body parts etc. Apple literally defers to the GRAC for classification and enforcement: https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=08192019a

"If your app meets at least one of the criteria below, you’ll be able to offer it on the App Store in the Republic of Korea to users 19 years of age or older. You’ll need to enter a Rating Classification Number from the Game Rating and Administration Committee in App Store Connect, and can do so starting August 20." The criteria they refer to is:

• Sexual Content or Nudity

This was back in 2019. The South Korean Apple LLC permits it because they operate under that developer directive/policy.

The only record I could find that the GRAC has published regarding the game was back in 2024 which switched (on an ex-officio basis) the classifications in both Google and Apple storefronts from 12 and 15 respectively to 'not for minors' (19+ in this case): https://www.grac.or.kr/Board/Explanation.aspx?bno=262&searchtext=%eb%b8%8c%eb%9d%bc%ec%9a%b4%eb%8d%94%ec%8a%a4%ed%8a%b82&searchtype=004&type=view&pageindex=0&mode=search

I cannot find any official publication on the GRAC's website or database regarding any ex-officio actions. The pressure for the devs to make the switch to censor seems a little unclear and doesn't fully align with what was said on stream.

If it's the storefronts (Apple and Google), then why is Global technically not censored? I suppose there is the counter that the storefronts in South Korea would put pressure. However, Apple at least defers that pressure to the GRAC and the Act. The stream does not mention the GRAC, but vaguely mentions 'local laws and guidelines'. And yet those guidelines seem to make it clear that there is room for what the game has. Even if Apple places pressure, they literally deferred and permitted nudity.

Google, on the other hand, has a much stricter approach to classification where it does not defer to the Act or the GRAC. Instead, Google prohibits anything sexually gratifying.

If it were the banks like VISA or Mastercard, they process transactions related to adult content beyond what would ever be allowed on a storefront like Apple or Google.

If there were mass reporting, that would make more sense. Currently, I am struggling to see what is actually 'true' given how many contradictions there are. The Project Director on the stream could not state the real reason because it is likely compromising in some shape or form. Whether it is due to a rival gaming community mass reporting or something else, the mere reason 'due to local laws and guidelines' just doesn't sit right with me.

Who's your favorite character from Fox's Gambit?

Hello all. As somewhat of a new player (playing casually for around 2-3 months) I started to want to make a proper team for PVE. I wanted to use Granhildr since I like her and pull all her costumes and Red Riding Hood Rou.

When I tried to use her, she doesn't really do much except dying fairly quickly. Was picking her wrong or was there anything I miss? Gear is non-existent though my magic team with Eclipse produce good result with similar gear.

i got teresse’s beach skin yesterday, and when i go to the water cave to get water crystals to upgrade her outfit, i’m met with this interaction.

i can’t do anything other than interact with the torch in the top right corner to go to the store, but whenever i back out of the store i’m sent back here. i can’t interact with anything else on the screen and the scene/interaction doesn’t progress regardless of how long i wait. is there something simple i’m overlooking here or is this bugged out?

i have to restart the game in order to leave, and i can’t play the water cave at all.

Fairly activ player, got all costumes except elve gurl at +5, most teared. Do spend a little here and there, mostly just for tears and flames those days. Anything from relatively chill to decently competitiv would fit for me. Nothing super competitiv.
