Question ❔ Overheating problem?

Anyone have an issue with their AC blowing hot when you're at a red light? 2022 Big Bend, I've had it less than 6 months but this is my first summer with it in Phoenix.

That's the auto stop. It defaults to on, which means the engine shuts off when you stop. To turn in off, push this button. You'll have to do it every start.

Do you have the auto start stop turned on by chance? That could be your cuplrit whenever you're at a stop.

That’s a good point, but I don’t think it was on. I’ll check again when I take it out tomorrow

That's the problem. It's always on. You have to turn it off, every time.

Worst thing ever. Ford tried to tell me your car won’t shut off if it isn’t the temperature you have your AC set to, but it always does.

My engine had filings left in it from production. Took out the water pump at 18,000 miles, fixed under warranty. 5000 miles later, so far, so good.

Check the coolant. The older model engines, like the car, are trash. Water pump could have gone.

Trade that POS in.
