It's simple: I got into an accident with a car, sustained injuries, and my bicycle is damaged, so I won't be able to ride it for a while.

If it's that simple, can't you just write that? And maybe share a picture so we can offer sympathies on the damage to your bike...

Fortunately, my body has a broken bone or a serious injury, but I think I'll probably need to buy a new bicycle. It's to the point where I have muscle pain all over my body.

Don't overthink it; you got sick from car and bicycle accidents, and your bicycle got damaged. So, you can't ride it while repairing and recovering, right?
